Description

The plaintiff says the defendant hired her to paint a picture of her deceased dog. However, the plaintiff alleges that she completed the job but has yet to be paid, so she’s suing the defendant. The defendant claims the plaintiff didn’t tell her she was going to charge her for the painting, and the plaintiff should have told her that beforehand, not after.
Then, the plaintiff says he rented an apartment in the defendant’s building. There was a fire, and his place was ruined. The plaintiff claims the defendant is withholding his security deposit and owes him for his damaged property, so he’s suing. The defendant insists the fire was not his fault, and he already offered to give the plaintiff money when he moved out, but the plaintiff reportedly rejected it.
Plus, the plaintiff claims the defendant had his truck for three weeks and was supposed to repair it, but he didn’t, so the plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant insists he fixed the plaintiff’s truck properly, and when the plaintiff’s vehicle started leaking, the defendant told him to bring it back in. The plaintiff reportedly refused to bring the truck back in.
