About this audiobook

After the death of my mother and her Bonded, I was relieved to find my own Bonds.

I was sure everything would be okay if I had them.

It wasn’t.

The fate of our people is in my hands and I know we’re better off if I’m alone.

After five years on the run, I’m caught and dragged back to face the men I ran away from.

I thought I was doing the right thing.

Now, I’m not so sure.

North, Nox, Gryphon, Atlas, and Gabe may never forgive me but one thing is for sure.

I won’t ever forgive myself.

*Broken Bonds is a full length reverse harem PNR novel with material that may be difficult for some readers. This book will end on a cliffhanger. It's recommended for 18+ due to language and sexual situations. Book 1 of 6

The story is interesting and leaves you wanting to know more, but the characters are mostly terrible. One of the MC’s bonds is a rapist and all of the side characters are vapid “slutty” girls who hate the MC. Honestly this kind of women hating women internalized misogyny is so boring in this day and age and it just feels lazy on the author’s part.

Im so torn on how I feel about this book. There was stuff I liked & stuff I didn't. I did struggle at the beginning as felt Oli was stuck in her head too much repeating the same thing over & over again & started to get annoyed at the amount of times the word bond was used. But as the story went on I found myself getting drawn into this world & needing to know what came next. Mostly needing to know if Oli kicked the guy's a**. I'm not big on bully romance (thats on me for for reading this book), but hate when it happens all the way through to the FMC who never really gets the chance to knock the guys off their horse. That is one thing I wish had been here, was Oli putting the guys in their place more. I liked the world building & the characters of Oli, Sage & Atlas. Was good to see some of the guys try to redeem themselves, but do not see any redemption for Nox (hope he dies in a future book). Can't wait to see where the story goes & find out more about Oli's powers.

I really really disliked this. All characters lack real substance, they are all just annoying assholes teens. The way the MC is written is so confusing, I get so lost between what is her internal monologue and external dialogue. I honestly hate all the bonds! Maybe if the creation of bonds was actually explained better, because I don’t understand how all of these teenage boys feel like the MC owe them a sex bond! Not to mention they feel they were owed it at 14 years old? What?! Ugh this came highly recommended but very disappointed. It gets two stars because I hear the series gets better, but I really can’t finish it.

This was really good. It's nice to read about a FMC that isn't a week b***h with the men in her life.

Hard to stop listening to this one. This is not a romance (yet). A prelude to chaos. Brat Protagonist.

Enjoyable story but dear God, after hearing "freaking" used as a modifier what felt like on every other sentence, I was losing my freaking mind!

Really want to like it but couldn’t get past the first five chapters. “Fuck” or “Fucking” in every single sentence was a bit too much. Very juvenile.

I wanted to like this, I really wanted to. I enjoyed the main character’s quick wit and personality however…she whines THE ENTIRE BOOK. The author isn’t very descriptive and instead leans heavily on quick quirky expletive filled dialogue. I’m on chapter 15 and she STILL refers to her power as “my power”, it’s annoying.

Stayed up late and made my self exhausted for work the next day because I just couldn’t stop myself. 100% worth the exhaustion. Wish I could read this all over again for the first time.

I DNF’d this at 56%. I feel like that’s a more than fair chance for a book to grab me. It feels like the same thing over and over again. Like the author could have covered everything in the first half in one chapter, maybe two. But well over half the book still feels like an introduction and I finally gave up.

I really enjoyed the narrator and the story was addictive! The overuse of cussing was a tad juvenile but it didn’t take away from the story once you got over it.

Ollie runs away and 5yrs later she is found by her bond. As an attempt to avoid trouble she has to live like humans and not use her power at all.
Gabe at the beginning he was such a pain but at the end?? I can't stop grinning.
Atlas Is such a sweet guy.
    I hated Nox?

This book reminded me of zodiac Academy, but less cringe., I enjoyed it, and I’ve already downloaded the next one. It was very good. We waited long enough to find out what her gift was, and still don’t think I totally know. Maybe the next book will find out more by about it.

This book would have been perfect, had it not had fuck or fucken in what felt like every sentence. I understand Oli is young, however there are other ways to express herself without that much cussing. Other than that, it's a great book and the narrator is fantastic!

RH with 0 smut...well, a small scene but it's borderline SA. If you're looking for spice, I can't speak for the others, but this one has zip.

It has a good ending, but I found 80% of this book was fairly unnecessary chatter. There's a heavy use of the words hell/freaking/fuck/shit/bitch where there could have been more diverse language to portray sarcasm or angst. I found it very YA for a reverse harem....I'm going to try the next book though, in hopes that the bratty tone of the MC is improved.
