About this audiobook

"A tender addition to the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and upcoming audiobooks.

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can't keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated-scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Colleen Delany, Jon Vertullo, Amanda Forstrom, Shawn K. Jain, Nora Achrati, Karenna Foley, Gabriel Michael, Natalie Van Sistine, Eva Wilhelm, Henry W. Kramer, Bianca Bryan, Renee Dorian, Matthew Bassett, Rob McFadyen, Ryan Carlo Dalusung, Yasmin Tuazon, Matthew Schleigh, Nanette Savard, Dan Delgado, Michael John Casey, Alejandro Ruiz, and Samantha Cooper."

Don’t like the graphic audiobook version. Why the heck is there music playing while Feyre is talking? Like a soap opera - can’t get past it.

Awwww. Yes! After the last book we all needed a moment to process everything that had happened. In this book we did that. Characters tales were told, questions were answered. And new beginning set up to start. I feel like the characters of the story needed this reset button book. And even as a reader it was nice to have it as well.

For the love of the cauldron, can someone tell the narrator for Rhys that it's pronounced "library" and not "lie-berry?!?" Someone. Anyone. Please.

Also, this book was super boring compared to the rest of the series. Book 1 was more entertaining.

This fourth part of the saga feels bland to me. It lacks action. After the previous book, which had a frantic pace with so much happening, this one focuses instead on the recovery and healing of the characters. One thing I particularly liked is that the chapters alternate narration from the perspective of several characters. It’s a beautiful book but flat, with no action; practically nothing happens throughout the entire story. (Translated from Spanish)

The novel is set after the events that occurred in the book A Court of Mist and Fury, and is narrated from the perspectives of Rhys, Feyre, Cassian, and Mor. The story is entertaining and quick to read. It is not a mandatory read to follow the saga. (Translated from Spanish)

As mentioned in other reviews, this book serves as a transition between two different plots, so it is not as juicy as the previous ones. However, a story with these characters can never be bad. (Translated from Spanish)

I liked it, but I was expecting it to be more relevant to the saga and for something important to happen that would leave me eager to read the sequel. However, the book only gives us small hints about future conflicts and tells us what happened to the characters some time after the battle against the king of Hybern. It felt short to me, and I am very afraid that Nesta will be the protagonist of A Court of Silver Flames because I don't like her. (Translated from Spanish)

I feel like I was on an exciting reading pace with the saga until I got here; maybe I don't fully grasp the essence or purpose of this book; but oh well... with the hope that it would be compensated by A Court of Silver Flames. (Translated from Spanish)

It's a complementary book, mostly to get us into what the next book will be and also to shift the narration from Feyre to her sister Nesta. I thought it was a nice book, but I mainly wanted to finish it to start reading A Court of Silver Flames. (Translated from Spanish)

It's a book that, aside from the plot, doesn't contribute anything to the saga; there is no character development and nothing important happens. I find it to be an unnecessary book within the continuity of the overall story. I clarify that I like the saga, but this book leaves much to be desired. (Translated from Spanish)

Well, I'm going to be the voice of dissent because more than half a year later, I'm still angry about it.
Is the story good? Well, the truth is that it’s nothing special; it doesn’t really tell us anything relevant, it doesn’t open up any questions (aside from a very brief moment with Mor) nor do I think it really serves as a bridge between the trilogy and the following books. This novel is actually an epilogue that we weren't sold or charged for as such. (Translated from Spanish)

A book that not only prepares you for what is to come but also provides a break from all the previous emotions. We see the characters in a circle of intimacy and tranquility that allows you to get to know a little more about each one. I hope Nesta changes my opinion in the next book because so far she is not a character I like. (Translated from Spanish)

I had understood that this was an extended epilogue, and while I did not find it boring, I also didn't think it was that necessary in my opinion. It is undoubtedly nice to see the characters again and know how their lives continued, but honestly, I am more excited about Nesta's book and seeing what's going on in her head. Charming closes for the novels, but as a reader, I demand to know more about the future stories of the court of dreams……
I have a void in my chest for Nesta and Cassian.
An endless pain for the beautiful Elain, Lucien, and Az.
I need to know what will happen with Amren and Varian.
And what the future holds for dear Mor.

And above all, to know the future of Feyre and Rhys and that they will find the happiness they deserve without interruptions for a few centuries. (Translated from Spanish)
