About this audiobook

"Sarah J. Maas's sexy, richly imagined audio experience continues with the journey of Feyre's fiery sister, Nesta.

Nesta Archeron has always been prickly-proud, swift to anger, and slow to forgive. And ever since being forced into the Cauldron and becoming High Fae against her will, she's struggled to find a place for herself within the strange, deadly world she inhabits. Worse, she can't seem to move past the horrors of the war with Hybern and all she lost in it.

The one person who ignites her temper more than any other is Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior whose position in Rhysand and Feyre's Night Court keeps him constantly in Nesta's orbit. But her temper isn't the only thing Cassian ignites. The fire between them is undeniable, and only burns hotter as they are forced into close quarters with each other.

Meanwhile, the treacherous human queens who returned to the Continent during the last war have forged a dangerous new alliance, threatening the fragile peace that has settled over the realms. And the key to halting them might very well rely on Cassian and Nesta facing their haunting pasts.

Against the sweeping backdrop of a world seared by war and plagued with uncertainty, Nesta and Cassian battle monsters from within and without as they search for acceptance-and healing-in each other's arms.

Now I'm going to start by saying - I LOVE this series. However, the narration of this book in particular is bizarre. I understand the narrative changes and all, from first person to third person and they needed a narrator to fill the gaps between spoken words but WHY this one?

Also, it cracked me up that they used Tamlin's fiddle music from the first book in Nesta's training sequence

I love the whole series. Some of the sound effects are kind of odd. But I love the dramatization. This is probably my favorite book of the whole series.

Cassian and Nesta have definitely taken over my #1 spot.

Ever since they introduced Nesta into the book and her role became bigger in the other books, I have always preferred Nesta over Feyre. Maybe it's because I feel more related to her character and personality or because I personally love 'bitchy/Fiery characters. I could just not hate her because I felt there was so much more to her. So this book is definitely my favorite from all of them. She's a character that has human faults and flaws and seeing her deal with that and the deep raw emotions was so close to heart that it felt realistic and relatable. Compared to the other books you really feel the opposite of how Feyra's world was. Nesta is in the same world but through the writing you can feel how she's an outsider (and also how she made herself like that in a way).

Cassian has taken over my #1 spot as well. I don't hate Reese buttttt Cassian is literally a (A gentle Barbarian) prince on a white horse.

The GraphicAudio of this book held me in a chokehold the entire time. It is SO well done. You get entirely swallowed into the story.

Graphic Audios are hands down the best way to listen to an audiobook! I absolutely loved Part 1 of ACOSF!! I will be honest and say that Nesta pissed me off in the beginning. Like I understood she went through stuff in the war and carries a lot of guilt along with the darkness in her. BUT her cruelty to everyone was annoying at times. I absolutely fell even more in love with Cassian in this part 1. His combination of strength and vulnerability that allows Nesta to feel safe opening up to him is EVERYTHING!! And the spice and dirty talk in this book is by far the best out of all the books!! It’s doing a true slow burn justice ???? I can’t wait to see Nesta embrace her power as death and Cassian to continue to show her that he won’t be scared away ??

I'm a guy, and I think these books are intoxicating. I could do without the sex talk but overall this series is FANTASTIC 1000% worth the listen.

I'm a bit sad I have discovered graphic audio.... Because now I can't listen to regular audiobooks. That aside this may be my favorite ACOTR book so far, centered around Nesta who has become my favorite. I found myself unable to stop listening such wonderful character development and captivating settings. I CAN NOT WAIT for the second part of this to be out... Only to be saddened that it is the last.

I don't think there's any audiobook from GraphicAudio that I don't love. But this book is definitely my least favourite of the whole series

All of the audiobooks in this series were produced amazingly; I'm so grateful to have discovered both the original books and this adaptation of them. Just discovered part 2 of this audiobook won't be available until next month...I hate having to wait but it will be worth it. I'll just have to revisit part 1 before listening to the next part.

The books are great but the portions where Nesta is narrated sounds like a talk to text computer program?
