About this audiobook

"The epic third story in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas.

Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin's actions and learn what she can about the invading king threatening to bring her land to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit. One slip could bring doom not only for Feyre, but for everything-and everyone-she holds dear.

As war bears down upon them all, Feyre endeavors to take her place amongst the High Fae of the land, balancing her struggle to master her powers-both magical and political-and her love for her court and family. Amidst these struggles, Feyre and Rhysand must decide whom to trust amongst the cunning and lethal High Lords, and hunt for allies in unexpected places.

In this thrilling third audiobook in the #1 New York Times bestselling series from Sarah J. Maas, the fate of Feyre's world is at stake as armies grapple for power over the one thing that could destroy it.

Part 1 of Wings and Ruin isn’t working ?
I am so sad. It won’t download either. I wish there was a way to contact someone to make them aware.
The rating isn’t based off the book, it’s due to not being able to listen.

The first chapter of this book was awful. Static and just hard to hear but after that it was great. Love the way they make it like you are watching it instead of listening to it. So much better than just having one narrator. Very well done.

This first book was packed full of alot of drama, angst, sadness, and fierceness. Feyre is amazing, she plays the perfect healing traumatized victim all while manipulating all things around her. It doesn’t seem like Tamlin even really loves her, he barely spends time with her, and it almost seems like it’s all about getting her back, saving face, and beating Rhysand. He seems to care more of what the priestess says then Feyre. She put a lot of things in place and a lot of it goes well but a lot of it goes real bad, theres so many times I was not sure what was going to happen. My heart breaks fir Feyre’s sisters, I hope things get better for them. Love having Rhysand and Feyre back together, such a fun and loving couple. Curious to see where other relationships go and curious what comes out of Feyre’s visit.

The STORY is fantastic but this dramatic reading is terrible. I listened for two chapters and decided I had to go hunt down the other audio version. The background noises are way too distracting and it feels like the voice actors are mocking the characters with their over the top dramatic readings.

Honestly, the reading of this is extremely distracting. The voice actors are rushed and too husky. The sound effects detract rather than add to the experience. Maas is a literary artist, and this does her writing no justice. I might just read this copy in print since the regular audiobook isn’t available yet. Definitely disappointed.

It hooked me within a few chapters. It progresses a bit slowly and gently compared to other books I’ve read, but the narrative has its own rhythm. Without a doubt, I highly recommend it. (Translated from Spanish)

I discovered this author through her other series, "City Halfmoon," and its start was slow, but then I couldn't stop reading. I'm looking forward to seeing how it continues, but they are 800-page books with a large number of not just characters but also fantastic species, which makes for a somewhat arduous read at that level. Because of all this, I felt a bit lazy and decided to start with this other series by the author.

It is certainly a more youthful saga, simpler, but that doesn't make it any less interesting. The characters are rich in nuances, the fantasy world is well-developed, and the plot has completely captivated me from start to finish. With touches that remind me of the tale of Beauty and the Beast but with torrid scenes. Lately, this kind of fantasy book with erotic tones has become very popular.

So I will continue with this series and with the other one as well. Nothing helps me unwind more than the fantasy genre.

By the way, upon finishing this book, I've come to the conclusion that I prefer the bad boy over the good one… (Translated from Spanish)

Teen fantasy, a saga that promises to be long... but look!! At my age, I loved it!! What a relief from other types of reading, I enjoyed it on every page ?

Although with some differences, we find ourselves before a "Beauty and the Beast," less cheesy, more violent, more empowerment of the female figure...

In a fantastical world where humans and immortals of all kinds are spread across different territories, there exists a high fae (an immortal) who is under a curse. And not just him, his entire Court is too.
The solution lies with a simple human, although she will take a long time to discover it.

Fantasy, romance, adventure... A bit of everything and a lot of entertainment ?

I think if the next installments maintain the pace, I have a pleasant summer ahead ? (Translated from Spanish)

When Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a creature bursts into her home to demand compensation, which will transport her to a magical and deceiving land she has only heard about in legends. Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal but Tamlin: an immortal and deadly deity who once ruled in his world.

As Feyre lives in his castle, what she feels for Tamlin shifts from hostility to passion, perhaps even falling in love? Moreover, an ancient shadow grows over the land of the fae day by day, and Feyre must find a way to stop it... or condemn Tamlin and his world forever. When the huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the forest, a beastly creature breaks into her home to demand recompense. Thus, she is transported to a magical and deceptive land she has only heard of in legends, where Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal but Tamlin: an immortal and lethal deity who once ruled in his world.

While Feyre lives in his castle, her feelings for Tamlin mutate from icy hostility to burning and fierce passion, despite all the lies and warnings she encounters in that fantastical, beautiful, and dangerous world. Furthermore, a vile ancient shadow grows over the land of the fae day by day, and Feyre must find a way to stop it... or condemn Tamlin and his world forever.

The premise is more than great but I feel this book wasn't for me. A book of over 400 pages that was entertaining but nothing more. I don't know if I was just not in the right moment to read it, but I felt it lacked excitement, action, I don't know. I felt I was missing things just as there were many things that felt excessive. I repeat, maybe it just wasn't my moment to read it. I also felt there was a lack of chemistry between the main characters. My favorites were definitely Lucien and Rhysand because I think they have the most personality and are better developed.

In any case, I might continue with the saga later, but right now I don’t think I'm in the right mood. (Translated from Spanish)

Well, I'm not going to complain; I am quite resistant to fantasy, but so many people have recommended it to me, and they have talked so highly about this saga, that I decided to step out of my comfort zone and read it. The truth is, I liked it; it wasn't difficult to follow, which I thought it would be, because if they start with the strange names, places, and odd things, but no. It's a story that, after all, is about love, but of course, with its wars between kingdoms, high-ranking officials, and special characters. It starts with the protagonist, Feyre, who goes hunting to feed her family, and things get complicated when she kills a wolf from the realm of the immortals, and from there, hold on because it gets tricky. It wasn't tedious, as I thought it would be; it's quite lively, and things keep happening. My fear is that I think there are five books, but if it continues like this, we're good.
