About this audiobook

"The sexy, action-packed first dramatized audiobook adaptation in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!

When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.

At least, he's not a beast all the time.

As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.

From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking series that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable listen.

Kramer, Ann Flandermeyer, Gabriel Michael, Debi Tinsley, Natalie Van Sistine, Karenna Foley, Scott McCormick, Bradley Foster Smith, Karen Novack, Christopher Graybill, Terence Aselford, Matthew Bassett, Michael John Casey, Nora Achrati, Yasmin Tuazon, Alejandro Ruiz, Steve Wannall, and Shanta Parasuraman."

I’ve heard of the series for a while, bought the books and realised that this is very different from what I’m used too (I haven’t read fantasy), this audio really helped me bring visuals in my head! The narration was beautiful, the cast and ambience really did what it promised and brought the book to life! I loved the story and the audio so onto the next…

I only enjoyed this because I love Rhysand’s character. Lol I’m also impressed on how brave Feyre’s character in UTM, love that girl! I hate Amarantha, Tamlin and Lucien’s character, they all made cringe every single time.

Absolutely loved it. Graphic audio is the best experience! Listening to all the books in the ACOTAR series now. Pure escapism. Pure joy.

I’ve read the paper copy multiple times and now listened to it as well. I love this series! The dramatics are a little annoying at times, like when a described gentle kiss sounds like a heavy make out session. But all in all, I’ll keep listening to the rest of the series.

It’s Beauty and the Beast meets Twilight. Do not recommend.

Is this book worth the read/ listen… yes,yes it is! But….it is not the story others made it out to be. It has romance, friendship, betrayal and love but it is not a Romance novel that I am used to. There was very little mention of their relationship in romantic details in that regard except for maybe Two or three scenes ( which were nice and sometimes steamy…packed with love and lust)
There are twists, turns and bumps along the way for EVERY SINGLE character in this story.
The cast who voiced this audiobook was fabulous! It was nice to be able to tell characters apart before hearing the writing depict (… “ it’s a beautiful day” Tamlin whispered. No we know it’s Tamlin because of the amazing work done for the voice work)
I finished this in two days, had to re listen to a few parts to make sure I was comprehending the story correctly. All in all I am excited and fearful for what the next book has in store for us, I can only imagine a couple sleepless nights are in my future.

It's Twilight if Twilight wasn't camp - this book takes itself way too seriously in the worst way possible. I truly believe ACOTAR will be a passing fad with no "Renaissance."

"Rhysand stared at me for long enough that I faced him.
"Be glad of your human heart, Feyre. Pity those who don't feel anything at all."

For my re-read, I decided to go with the Graphic audio dramatized version which was really fun but I wouldn't recommend it if it's your first time reading the book.
Also, in hindsight, I think it's pretty bad ass that Nesta was able to break through Tamlin's glamour. And her declaration about never finding faerie's interesting. Lol. How things changed! Also, yeah Tamlin wasn't a great love interest for Feyre, but him going against Amarantha because of what his father was, and opting for slavery instead of giving in was honourable. Also, I'd completely forgotten that Amarantha was the one responsible for Lucien's eye. Damn.
All in all, this was such a fun reread.

I hardly give story 6 stars
I fall in love with the character building and realistic action from the characters. and realistic logic of abilities. The way the writer put limits and that what gave the story more fun to be read and keep reading it.

am looking forward to the next book though many people said this one was boring but in my point of voice it was amazing opening to an amazing start of a great story.
