It’s boring! What happened to Persephone attitude? She’s... I’m irritated with her attitude!

    I’m giving only 1 star , I didn’t like the whole story.

The main character is so infuriatingly dumb, can't emphasis with her. some of the problems that could be interesting plot developments are resolved within minutes and have no bearing to the story and others are draged on for no good reasons. Also there are characters that are millions of years old but they seem to be dumber than the protoganist (a 20 something) ? this is just an xxx book for 14 year olds, which doesn't seem to be right ?

I didn’t mind the first book, but going into this book the characters just became more annoying. Persephone was quite clueless and reckless and selfish many times, which made me dislike her. Being the main character, it was not great. I feel Hades wasn’t portrayed as in depth as he could be, being the other main character.

Persephone whines through the book, its unnerving. I get that she's getting accustomed to being a Goddess and the Queen of Hell - BUT COME ON!! ugh

DNF. lead character too childish and whiney. Got half way through and turned it off. Too bad, thought she would mature and grow into her power.

The author writes great stories, but terrible characters. Persephone is the worst kind of woman. Bratty, whiney, jealous, toxic. Hopefully she can actually write strong female protagonists in her future books.

I loved the narration for this story. I've become completely enveloped in the story. The way she breaks down the characters and really brings scenes to life.
As for the stories and characters, they're absolutely wonderful. The writer grasps depth of feelings for all the complexities that they are. Persephone's struggles are real and her feelings reflect my own, past and present. Her rage and insecurities. Her compassion and ambitious. I feel so seen by her. Her relationships with each character is unique. Some of the smaller friendships feel a bit forced and a tad tropey, but they aren't pointless.

Don't gets meh wrong, I love smut as much as the next girl but...their is NO PLOT in-between...just one sex scene bleeding into the next situation. Main characters grow very little and aren't very likeable. I gave it as much as a three because I like Greek mythos and the sex scenes are hot...when I had the patience for them. Towards the end of the book I was hitting the fast-forward button pretty often.

Love this series. The Gods, Demi Gods and mortals all mixed great story. The character development and world building is amazing. The tension between Persephone and Hades makes this a great story.

I wanted to love this series, but the FMC is insufferable. Toxic, jealous, selfish, immature. How can you sympathize with a character when you cant stand them?

I liked the first book well enough to continue to the second, but this one is just awful. There's very little actual story. The characters lose all substance from the first book. The narration gets monotonous, like she's just as bored to read this as we are.

This is one of my favorite series, and I recommend it! This book can be an emotional roller-coaster, but it's so good!

I enjoy the book for the most part. But Persephone is soo annoying. Can she not think for herself? Everytime someone says something she runs with it and adopts it as her feelings. It doesn’t seem like she has a brain but wants to whine about everything and repeatedly defy Hades. The one that loves her and never listens to him but everyone else. Like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about. She’s too bratty for me. But hades and the other characters are amazing.

The idea behind the story is intriguing. But the writing is just ok and the main character is hard to like.

I had to stop listening to this series because I cannot stand Persephone at all. She's so immature in terms of decision making. She tries to be independent in the wrong stinking way. Instead of seeking advise for her problems, she just ends up digger the hole even bigger.

This is Book 2 in the Hades and Persephone story and I'm really enjoying reading about all their lives. The inly gripe I have is why oh why does Persephone have to be sooooooo mistrusting of Hades. Apart from that it's a great continuation of a really good story ??

The sex scenes are short and lacking. Persephone is so annoying. And this whole book reads like bad fanfiction. One problem after another with Persephone and hades bickering. There’s no real stakes and there’s too much disjointed dialogue. I hated it. 1st book had potential but this was so disappointing.

This series is extremely enjoyable, it will make you laugh, smile coyly, and maybe even cry. The narrator really brings it to life and does fantastic character voices, and is great at matching her voice to the right mood during the story! This story of Hades and Persephone is the best one I’ve come across yet, and I like that the author gave Persephone some true power, and even though she is learning how to use it, I love that she is not weak and helpless. Even if her life is difficult on her emotionally as she clings to her humanity.

I liked a lot of this book but wow there were just so many parts that I did not love that’s why I gave it four stars. The parts I loved, Hades he is calm and rational when he needs to be but also passionate, aggressive and angry when he should be. I love how much Hades loves Persephone. I love how Persephone is with the children, how she is growing with her powers more. I love Hermes, he is so much fun, he brings some lightness to the story when needed. Now for what I didn’t like, Persephone acts like a spoiled brat, immature, selfish, quick to anger and irrational in many parts of this book (that is why I gave 4 stars, almost 3) and I almost forgot, way too much sex at the weirdest times in this story. Im hoping the next book is better and she is more mature.
