About this audiobook
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.
Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I have a habit of Not learning about a book that I’m about to read. This helps me be able to read a book without predicting the plot as easily. The way this was written was in unique way to all the books I’ve read. I feel as though that really helped the reading experience.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It’s a decent read, but a bit predictable. I also don’t like the message to young girls that if you let a boy treat you like garbage for long enough, eventually he’ll love you - meh

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It was ok. Last 5 chapters were good.bthe rest was slow. And the name rachel was way too repetitive.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It wasn’t too bad. I do appreciate the fact that the book was well rounded, and it answered all of our questions leading up to the end.
This is my third or fourth book that I have read by this author, and I have noticed she has a very predictable storyline:
One of the parents is always dead in the beginning of the book.
Girl meets boy.
Boy is always really good looking and great in bed.
There is a tragic death somewhere along the way, but everything always works out in the end.
I will say though, I was not a fan of the male reader who played the part of Miles. It might just be a personal preference, but I felt that it really took me out of the story.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The title is so fitting. Loved this story from the plot twists to the characters to the closure & drama it’s just so wonderful & oh so steamy.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5The voice of young miles comes off a little creepy, almost as if he's mocking the words at some points, I feel myself cringing alot. Definitely felt there could be a better narrator for his part.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5I’ve now read this twice. Once over a year ago and then this week. It was such a mediocre book that I couldn’t remember the story, but I remember being annoyed by it. The repetitive words, the shallow character development and the dull storyline. I expect more from a Colleen Hoover novel. Read “Verity” instead of this book, it’s 1000% better. Ugh- I can’t believe I listened to this twice and didn’t recall the story. Save yourself, don’t do it.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I just could not get over the male narrator. He makes intimate moments very uncomfortable.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The Myles narrator ruined this whole book for me. His voice made Myles seem so creepy and I genuinely couldn’t finish the book because of this. Too bad because I was enjoying it and the narrator of Tate did a great job but just couldn’t get past the voice of Myles.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The audiobook narration was good. I listen to a lot. The voice of Mike however was entirely annoying!! The way he said “Rachel” was so annoying. I like Colleen’s books very much. They are an enjoyable read (“listen”). I just think they need to find better actors!

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5I usually love Coleen Hoover’s stories but this one was not my favorite. The male voice was very dorky sounding and kind of drove me crazy so I don’t know if that just ruined the story for me.

- Rating: 4 out of 5 stars4/5It was a rough start for me. I wanted to dislike this book, dislike Miles, but I knew there was more to the story, more to Miles. It kept me reading/listening…and it was so worth it!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5"Oh, God Rachel." The most emotionally gripping line from any book I've read within the last decade. This book was amazing. Heartwrenching. Steamy. Tear inducing. But overall a wonderful journey. Would recommend. But also, have tissue and a glass of wine (or bottle) ready.

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Please save your time and mental space. Don’t read it. Very predictable with a horrible message.
Stay with a man that tells you not to ask about his past and never imagine a future with him, because hey “something terrible happened to him” and he is incapable of love. Women give up so much of themselves in the hope that they will be enough for a man and this entire story unfolds with this hard working young woman that continues to consciously allow a man to use her because they agreed on a physical relationship. She looses her self worth, she feels miserable but stays with the Hope that she will change him. Surprise: he suddenly changes his mind after a pep talk from his friend and a visit to his ex. Yuck yuck yuck.1 person found this helpful
- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Love Colleen Hoover, but did NOT love this book. Actually found it to be quite annoying at times. Backstory could have been great, except that it wasn’t talked about much. 75% of the book was centered around their sex, and only 25% backstory. And the number of times the name Rachel is used makes me have a new dislike for the name altogether now.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The slow burn romance, the tragic story that is Myles is so relatable. Maybe it’s the eerily similar emotions from my personal life but this was a well written and beautiful story

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5It felt like one of those things you listen to in order to pass the time or fill the silence. The story didn't capture me particularly, and I never felt like I could empathize with the characters. Still, I listened to the end just to be able to cross this off my list.

- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5This story is good, but I read it right after reading This Ends With Us and it’s not nearly as good that.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5This book maybe better if I read it instead of listening to it. The voice of miles was horrible and cringey

- Rating: 1 out of 5 stars1/5Nope. I’m sorry but I’m so disappointed with that ending. It started being at least more “realistic”, but such a happy ever after ending when they had such a toxic relationship during the whole book? Bullshit

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I loved the story but my mind immediately thought it would be sinister based on Miles voice. It really felt creepy and the way he said "Rachel" made my skin crawl. I was wrong, of course, but his voice was just... wrong for Miles.

- Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Am I the only one who cares for my romance novels to be the least bit realistic?
I was ok until they started making out in the middle of a department store and every time he touches her she forgets how to breathe. Very “Twilight” to me.
Miles loves making rules. Then literally breaking then twelve seconds later. Too predictable. They didn’t even try. Rolling my eyes.
I’m ok without the pseudo-incest, too. Just done.1 person found this helpful
