Ali Hazelwood

Ali Hazelwood is the New York Times and Sunday Times bestselling author of multiple romance novels, as well as a writer of peer-reviewed articles about brain science, in which no one makes out and the ever after is not always happy. Originally from Italy, she lived in Germany and Japan before moving to the US to pursue a PhD in neuroscience. She recently became a professor, which absolutely terrifies her. I found it a little hard to get into this book in the beginning, but once I did I was hooked. It was a short book, obviously, and usually I like a nice long slow burn, but I didn’t feel like anything was lacking. This one’s going on my re-read list!

No soy la fan #1 de Ali, pero el libro estuvo coqueto para escucharlo en audiolibro mientras trabajaba.
Algo que noté, y me dio mucho coraje, es que no es "Enemies to lovers" como todo sus libros, sino que es un problema de que no exista la comunicación... Y no sé si me gusta.
Viola fue mid y Jesse también... La verdad es que no el mejor libro de Ali, pero tampoco le he dado chance a más... Voy a intentarlo.
El libro solo está disponible para audiolibro, así que creo que eso explica que no le haya metido más sazón como en otros libros que sé que son muy buenos.

On one hand, I loved this - who doesn't like a good rivals to lovers, being snowed in together while at a work retreat no less. I love that they are both gamers and have this incredible passion for the same series of books that they will stop at nothing to bring to life! That being said, the misunderstanding here legit ended me, it lasted FOR YEARS.

Otherwise, the narration was great and once it spiced, it I was a happy camper LOL.

Loved it from the begining to the end! There's no way to get bored with Ali's enemies to lovers stories anytime soon. It's a simple story of two game developers, going through their prejudices and misunderstandings, as they're trying to get the work of their Dreams on an magnificent winter's resort. The story unfolds without drama, and the narration is clear and marvelous.
