The scenes were spicy and I genuinely appreciated how every character was flawed but redeemable. They were all just a bit annoying and that made it even better. BUT there was entirely too much hand wringing and introspection. They would have the same thoughts over and over. It was ridiculous. And in the middle of the spicy scenes too! How am I supposed to get into it when Helen is drifting off thinking about her brother? This book just needed to be cut down via editing. But I will definitely keep reading through the series!
