I was really excited for this polyamorous relationship, but honestly this book kind of bored me. Not a big fan of book 2 , but hopeful for the next one.

No, just no. As a member of the BDSM community this is an extremely poor representation of the community and contributes to the misconceptions of us being abusers. The consent is dubious at best and the use of a safe word is almost looked up on as a shameful way out. Even if I could put all that aside, the sex scenes are poorly written and the toxicity of the characters is beyond what most would expect for man villains are the main characters type of book.

While bdsm doesn't bother me I don't much care to read about submissives because a part of me is like ugh weak but I also get it it's about trust in both parties and yeah I can't trust no one but myself....and my sister lol she's the real one.

Wasn't much story. Just a whole lot of spice and lusting after one another, which I love me some spice but I like a story line more, and there just wasn't enough story for me.

Also don't go into this thinking it's an actual Hades, Meg and Hercules retelling. They're all just in name they're very much just horny mortals.

I really enjoyed this! I liked how respectful and thoughtful they seemed to be, and how Hades was encouraged to share more about what was going on in his head. There was a whole lot of steamy scenes, straight off the bat! Definitely continuing on with the series!
