About this audiobook

An FBI agent, the serial killer she hunts, and the deadly string of crimes tying them together.

I’m tired.

Crime scene to crime scene I go, interview upon interview I question, and it all yields nothing but more questions, more media attention, and the sound of a voice on the phone. A voice that haunts me late into the night with a yearning to taste the forbidden.

Some say dreams hold hidden truths. I hope not.

The man the media calls the ‘Vigilante’ is supposed to be my prey, but instead we dance.

Every possible step closer, he evades. Only his faceless taunts close the distance between us. I can barely catch my breath.

Then the copycat killings begin, and I struggle to hold my grip on the truth.

In the face of temptation will I rise, or will I fall?

Am I the saint? Or his angel?

I enjoyed the story, it was short and interesting, not overly dark or gruesome! The narrators were great!

This is a good quick spicy read! I enjoyed listening to it. The narrators Jo Raylan and Gideon Frost did an amazing job personifying the characters.

Short, intense, 5 ????? for sure. A lot of darkness lurking beneath the surface. The story doesn’t bother outlining the reasons why; instead, it allows the characters to explore new possibilities outside the thing that defined them for so long. I daresay it felt cathartic.

Neatly tied ending with a quick nod to the next book in the series (which will feature tangentially related characters).

I’ll definitely put more of them on my TBR list

For a short novella, this one was good. It had everything you wanted from a book and more. It was hot, the plot was interesting, the chemistry was off the charts, and the spice was spicying. I picked this book on a whim and went into it blindly. I was not disappointed.
