It started off okay but it just gets cringe worthy. It veers off into the ridiculous and the author desperately needs to find some more verbs and descriptive words. I can’t believe this was edited professionally.

Narrator isn’t so great, especially her male voice which is downright awful. Sounds like she’s making fun of a male, not actually attempting serious narration.

Really good but also super long! A lot of it was predictable and the female main character acted and spoke like Elena Gilbert at times but other than that, there was plot, spice and suspense! Cute story. Very fiction as it’s just unrealistic but isn’t that the point of reading?

This book is better if you go into it blind which is what I did just be mindful if you have triggers look into it. This will not be my last Claire Contreras book as this was fantastic. I felt all the emotions when reading this book from happy to sad. The depth of these characters is great and Logan can be possessive of me any day. These two are soulmates and the intimate spice just hit. Really enjoyed this read.

Love it to pieces, great storyline! I live the character archs the best, I think the writer did a great job of flashing the mmc and fmc out! And they evolve together which is great to see. I think this is a good listen for those who like dark romance but are on the fence of some of the darker parts... It's a good easing into it! ❤️

This was my first Claire Contreras book...but it will not be my last. This was all the things I love in a good, dark, gritty romance. This had drama, angst, heartbreak, tenderness and lots of steamy scenes. I really liked Lachlan and Lyla from the very beginning. You could see how they brought out the best in each other...but also the most emotion. This was just a great read from beginning to end. Audiobook was great as well!
