About this audiobook

When Catherine Jacobs's parents died while she was in high school, her brother's best friend Dallas Miller was there to help pick up the pieces. Several years and her looming college graduation later, Cat's motorcycle-riding knight in tattoos is about to ride off into the sunset to start his own life. Now she only has six days to convince him to fulfill her secret fantasy of having him for her first before he's gone forever.

Dallas Miller shouldn't have listened to Cat's proposition. He can't forget her request, no matter how much he needs to. Losing his best friend's trust would be bad enough, but Cat's the only woman he's ever dreamed of sharing a future with. It's already breaking his heart to leave her behind; he can't bear giving her what she wants and becoming her biggest regret after.

Once Cat knows Dallas is interested, she's determined to see her plan through. Sure, there's a lot to lose if she messes this up, but the promise of a happy ending—and a happily ever after with the perfect man—are worth the risk.

Editor's Note

Heartfelt Contemporary Romance...

Grant’s contemporary romances combine quirky characters with heartfelt situations that are also often fraught with intense emotion. Here, Catherine asks her brother’s best friend, Dallas, to be her first, right before he’s about to leave town. The two have had unacknowledged feelings for one another forever, and their ultimate happy ever after is very satisfying.

The heroine is so weird, I really like morally grey tropes but she straight up sexually harasses the guy, weird to find that hot… and she literally ignores him telling her no, like what happened to no means no… also she is really weird towards her friend, when she doesn’t want to hear her say something she just ends the call, which is so toxic?! Idk sorry but that’s not it I have to stop listening

I really enjoyed this short sexy audiobook. The story itself was quite silly, but the narration brought the sexy to life (thank you, Oliver). Yeah, so I really recommend this as an audiobook. Both narrators (Cassandra Medcalf and Oliver Clarke) were really good.

I really liked this, and then I realized it's because it's like the EXACT same as The Deal Dilemma by Meagan Brandy. Not sure if thats coincidence or sus, but it was a good read.

Good book till the end she runs after him. I would have rather him fight for her and tell her brother he loves her. Then at the very end when she gets to him it ends with him saying “what took you so long” really no sweet words. It was the blandest ending I’ve ever read in a book and no epilogue. Really would’ve been a great book. If you had a good ending. Very underwhelming and left feeling disappointed. I’ll make a better ending in my head. I will give this author, one more shot, and if the ending is that disappointing again, I will never read another book from her.

    Mild spoilers:

I didn't love this at first. Although both parties are clearly interested from the beginning, the FMM is very coercive in her attempts to get the MMC to "devirginize" her. It's not ok to push after a "no"....yet she does, over and over again.

The redeeming aspect of the situation is that he only says "yes" after she drops it. So it feels a little less "ick" but the beginning still made me feel uncomfortable.

The rest of the story was cute.

Can’t make it past the beginning which is just the female lead sexually harassing the brothers friend nonstop that it becomes unbearably annoying
