About this audiobook

Lexi and Charlize have been BFFs since first grade, so when Charlize proposes the holiday of a lifetime, Lexi hopes being in Miami will help her gain some much needed confidence with men. But those plans change when their holiday is crashed by the one man who's never looked at her that way—Will, Charlize’s brother and a huge baseball star.

When Will’s ex hands over nude pictures to a sleazebag reporter, he sees his face--and more--plastered across every tabloid front page in the country. The press is hounding him, and his little sister's vacation home seems the ideal place to hide.

Will intends to lick his wounds and recover his trust in the world, but he discovers Lexi's secret plan and offers to help her get over her fear of sex. They've known each other forever and can rely on each other implicitly. Neither of them would let anything pesky like feelings get in the way of their friendship.

Lines blur as walls come down, and Lexi gets much closer to Will than she ever dreamed possible. Could he really be the man for her? After all this time, her dream guy could be right in front of her but only if she faces her insecurities and puts her heart on the line.

Fun Friends-with-Benefits...

Snowe’s New Adult romances are hilarious, but also pack a lot of feels. Lexi goes on a trip with her BFF — but when her BFF’s famous older brother, Will, has to escape the paparazzi because of a vengeful ex leaking nude pics, he joins them. They’ve always been just friends, but now he’s vulnerable, and is discovering her secrets — like how she’s scared of sex. They agree to a friends-with-benefits situation while they’re both away from home, but then, feelings intrude.

The male narrator didn't do it for me . Cute story

I thought this book was a cute quick read. Not one that I’d be adding to my “read again” list but definitely one that made me go “awwww” at the end.

So cute. Poor American girls, we have been conditioned to hate our bodies instead of celebrating how glorious they can be. This story probably hits many of us in painful ways.

    Sweet as apple pie.

It was a sweet, quick story, and I want to say it’s 4 stars, but at best it feels like 3.5. I really liked the forthright nature of the male main character, but I sadly found the female main character to be quite grating and frustrating. She seemed a bit obtuse, while being told specifically and point blank how the H felt, she just kept moping and dissing herself to the point of being obnoxious. I didn’t buy the intense chemistry for this couple when there never appeared to have been a hint of longing on the part of the H prior to the events in this story. It’s a well-written book, and I enjoyed the author’s style. It’s worth a listen, but I wouldn’t have finished it if I weren’t listening on the audio version because the female lead was just too self-deprecating right up until the end.
