The author seems to think this was hardcore. If she meant sexually, it wasn't, if she meant as a criminal defense attorney, I will grant her that. It was a pleasant read.

This story was actually pretty good but there was so much of the H's head banter that it was overwhelming. I really liked the h as she was strong without being obnoxious and called the H on his crap.

It's not my normal style of book that I listen to, but I am very much glad that I did. I loved all the characters. The narrator was perfect. I loved how the asshole turned out to be a softie. I usually don't write a review because I suck at wording it and just click the stars. However, I just had to say this, and I am already downloading the next book.

Better than expected, it’s fairly true that far to many people become what they hate.. Shame that most of those never figure it out. That BS excuse of it’s just who I am has been done to death, yet this book kept my attention. Really liked K made her own way built a successful business from the ground up
