About this audiobook
#1 New York Times bestselling author Nora Roberts introduces an unforgettable thief in an unputdownable new novel…
Greed. Desire. Obsession. Revenge . . . It’s all in a night’s work.
Harry Booth started stealing at nine to keep a roof over his ailing mother’s head, slipping into luxurious, empty homes at night to find items he could trade for precious cash. When his mother finally succumbed to cancer, he left Chicago—but kept up his nightwork, developing into a master thief with a code of honor and an expertise in not attracting attention—or getting attached.
Until he meets Miranda Emerson, and the powerful bond between them upends all his rules. But along the way, Booth has made some dangerous associations, including the ruthless Carter LaPorte, who sees Booth as a tool he controls for his own profit. Knowing LaPorte will leverage any personal connection, Booth abandons Miranda for her own safety—cruelly, with no explanation—and disappears.
But the bond between Miranda and Booth is too strong, pulling them inexorably back together. Now Booth must face LaPorte, to truly free himself and Miranda once and for all.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Really loved the characters in this book. The story held my interest. I grew more and more engrossed both in the people and all that was happening as the plot moved along.
I adore Mags and Sebastian. I love that an epilog was included. It was such a nice gift to the reader, so "thanks" to Nora.
The narrator was excellent. I love his voice and "voices". - Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5I am a fan of all Nora Roberts
books including this new release. I love this emotional story of redemption, especially coming from the male pov. It's usually the female we read about it's was refreshing to see the young man grow and overcome heartache with lost, finding himself and love. I also enjoyed all the addition of new IT technology added to the drama. - Rating: 2 out of 5 stars2/5Although I enjoyed the book somewhat, in my opinion it’s too long, the main characters are too perfect and there is too little exitement. The thief is extremely handsome, extremely intelligent, extremely patiënt, extremely compasssionate etc…, boooriiiing. The same go’s for his significant other. A bit less flawlessness would-be have been nice. Two and a half stars.
