About this audiobook

A dark fae prince with a beastly secret. A faerie princess with a curiosity for things better left alone. A bond that will turn enemies to lovers. A love that might cost them their lives…

I’d known exactly who he was—the Unseelie prince. But I hadn’t known just what he was.

I’d been fooled.

The creature I’d formed a tentative friendship with in my family’s dungeon was not the gentle, intriguing prince I’d thought him to be.

He was a monster. A bloodthirsty beast.

And I’d helped him escape my uncle’s clutches.

Such a betrayal called for severe consequences, and the price of releasing the biggest threat our kingdom had faced in hundreds of years was not one I would survive.

But upon discovering my uncle’s foiled plans for their prince, the Unseelie demanded vengeance, and an agreement was made.

My savior and my doom returned, and this time, he wasn’t leaving without me.

Regardless of how I loathed him, the deceitful and dangerous male was my last hope. Yet when he looked at me, touched me, dared to love me, the beliefs I’d worn as armor began to melt. I couldn’t let that happen.

Though avoiding fate would prove impossible when the only way to save my life was to surrender it by marrying the monster who’d destroyed it.

Kingdom of Villains is a complete standalone and is not connected to any other Ella Fields novel. HEA. No cliffhanger. It's an enemies to lovers fantasy with a whirlwind, swoon-worthy romance.

Realistically, if you're in this for the fantasy, the story wasn't that strong to me. The schemes weren't strong and was a little too tidy and a bit unsatisfying. The real star here is the romance and that's why I loved it. All the tropes just hit right and I am a sucker for males who get incredibly jealous and vice versa. Come in for the romance and you won't be disappointed!

The story was OK.. but not really good.
It does have romance and spice but the overroll story and characters developed is week.
It was an OK book to listen to

Solid story, performances were good - would have been better split into two books as was a big meaty plot line!

I’m so sorry but the male narration voice’s impression of Fia was unlistenable. The book was lacking in plot sure but some of the narration choices were really disappointing

The princess and heir to the throne frees a political prisoner/prince sentenced to death, thereby preventing a war. This act makes her an enemy to the crown... Probably makes her a hero to the people who actually were going to have to fight in the war but we don't hear from them because they're not royalty so who cares.

Story line and plot was next level amazing but the male narrator was awful. His voice just didn’t match the story or the character. It was quite off putting on his chapters

I waited too long to read this. I love spicy fated mates stories and this one delivered. Male narrator is a little off but it still worked okay. I wish she made him grovel at the end but that’s just me lol

I'm half way through the book & the world building is trash. Character development is sub par & the plot is completely lost. I was so close to liking it but at half way through, the plot is completely stagnant. I'm bored. They're jumping into the relationship with no grounds to stand on, no depth. The "spice" does not make up for lack of furthering the story line.

The narrators on this one were just so hard to get passed, I usually try to at least finish the book if I can but even the story and plot just were all over the place and jumped around, felt rushed, no world building, no build up of really any kind. It was way over hyped

The storyline and plot were alright but the male voice actor was really off-putting.

I do enjoy a good stand alone although it makes me start worrying when there is 5 chapters left and we haven't gotten revenge yet ?

I took a star away because of 2 reasons.
    1. It says the c word and unless I'm calling someone that it makes me cringe.
    And
    2. I don't care for spice where the guy is asking if he's better than another guy and if that guy made her feel like that.

That's my personal preference other than that what's not to love about a beast finding his queen of monsters
