The story is good but I think the playback might be messed up in a few spots. Some chapters repeated towards the end. Not sure if anything was left out. Still worth listening though. Good narrators, decent smut, interesting plot. Kept me interested despite player issues. Worth sticking it out to get to next book.

The adventure continues with book 2 in this series. With plenty of spice and twists to keep you on the edge of your seat with your toes curled. New characters are introduced in his second installment furthering the complete reimagining of the characters we know and love from the classic fairytale.


The vicious lost boys are so much fun to read about as they settle into their new life of sharing Winnie, who is still trying to wrap her head around that fact as well. All while also helping Pan hunt for his shadow, which is now roaming freely around Neverland. The group must find Pan's shadow before someone else claims it... Or sink their Hook into it.

I am just absolutely enjoying every second of this series, and the narrators in the audio book make it that much better to listen to.

To quote the author or paraphrase, these books are out right diabolical. So much is jam packed into such a short novel. Each chapter more devious than the last.
They are well written and graphic.. GRAPHIC.
more xxx than I'm definitely used to. I'm not sure how I feel about them. I won't spoil anything but there are a few trigger warnings, so if you don't like bdsm.. or bondage triggers you I'd say try sara j mass. But if you like the gritty. If you're unbiased or into the more hedonistic fantasy. These may be for you. I'm sitting at a 3.5 out of 5 stars. Truly on the fence about these. Even writing that feels um wrong.. ha! I need a brain shower now. Definitely not romantasy think much darker.

Darling’s character was interesting.
Multiple sex scenes -I’m not really into girl getting debased and abused. Though the girl was using sex to claim her power.
The boys are two dimensional.

nice sequel to the never king. Pan and his lost boys are still searching for his shadow. Captain Hook's presence is bigger in this book. There's drama, tension, disappointment and lots of Why Choose spice! This one also ends on a doozy of a cliffhanger! Can't wait to read book 3
