About this audiobook
The following topics are included in this 2-book combo:
Book 1: When it comes to healing from trauma, several important factors play a role. These factors help victims of traumatic happenings heal faster.
This is exactly what you will find in this book: You will find 7 reasons why you may still have PTSD symptoms, suggesting another perspective on your situation and the opportunity to improve it.
Last but not least, you will get more insights in what dissociative disorders are, and how to recognize them more quickly.
Book 2: Many people believe grieving is only something we do when somebody we care about dies. But there are many other reasons why we grieve. Smaller but similarly serious sorrows can include the loss of a job, a broken relationship, unmet expectations, frustration or disappointment because of failure, and so much more.
Two other subjects will also be discussed in this book. The first relates to handling PTSD in your marital relationship. If you are married to someone who has a traumatic disorder, there are many pieces of advice that can help you deal with that person and these side effects better. Another topic heavily emphasized in this book, is what’s called “survivor’s guilt.” It relates to people who have seen others die and wonder why they are still alive. Even though they might not be the cause of the other people’s deaths, they still have a feeling of guilt that tells them they got lucky and may feel they don’t deserve to be alive more than any other individual. This can be a real problem and can cause PTSD.
If any of these topics interest you, then I encourage you to start reading or listening to this book right now!

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5It appears as if we are dealing with a pro here. The narrator's presentation was to die for. There are actually a lot of awful audiobooks available, but this is not one of them. It might have had a couple of mistakes, but they didn't subtract anything from the awesome info that this particular audiobook contains. You can learn a ton. I know that I did.

- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Audiobooks like these make me happy. They're fantastic. Not bad in any way. I feel it's one of the very best audio books on the marketplace. I discovered a lot simply by soaking it all up. The information was excellent, particularly if you already understand a tiny bit about the topic. Actually, you may know nothing at all about it and still follow along easily.
