When it comes to mental health, it’s safe to assume that most of us have or will know someone who needs our support at some point.
According to the latest New Zealand Health Survey, pyschological distress among adults is on the rise, with nearly one in 10 adults (9.6 percent) reporting they had experienced psychological distress in the four weeks prior to completing the survey, up from 7.5 percent the year before.
