About this audiobook

This is a 2-book combo, which has the following titles:

Book 1: What happens in the brain of someone who has Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder?

Why can’t we either erase memories or cope with them when they have been shockingly awful?

Questions like these will be answered in this quick guide, as well as other interesting facts, anecdotes, and topics. We will discuss the comprehensive concept of dissociative amnesia, the four different subtypes of PTSD, the difference between PTSD and Acute Stress Disorder, specific problems related to homeless veterans, and several other fascinating subjects.

Book 2: Many people believe grieving is only something we do when somebody we care about dies. But there are many other reasons why we grieve. Smaller but similarly serious sorrows can include the loss of a job, a broken relationship, unmet expectations, frustration or disappointment because of failure, and so much more.

Two other subjects will also be discussed in this book. The first relates to handling PTSD in your marital relationship. If you are married to someone who has a traumatic disorder, there are many pieces of advice that can help you deal with that person and these side effects better. Another topic heavily emphasized in this book, is what’s called “survivor’s guilt.” It relates to people who have seen others die and wonder why they are still alive. Even though they might not be the cause of the other people’s deaths, they still have a feeling of guilt that tells them they got lucky and may feel they don’t deserve to be alive more than any other individual. This can be a real problem and can cause PTSD.

If any of these topics interest you, then I encourage you to start reading or listening to this book right now!

I 'd like everyone to understand that I strongly recommend this audio book. I can probably list 15 points why I appreciate this audiobook, but my time is actually limited, so this customer review will not be long. I recognized a lot of the things the author was discussing. Some things went over my head, but that's regular for any book that has been written by a genius.

I simply just wanted to write something good about this particular audiobook. This deserved my time. Finally, a narrated book which gives you what you want. One more point: The storyteller seemed so great that I would listen to it in the future. And perhaps more than just once. I cannot recall everything that's being said in these audio books, so it would be worth reminding myself of what was actually being mentioned.

Hi there, I simply intended to publish a handful of words of recommendation. In my perspective, it was pretty great. There may have been a few barely noticeable errors in there, but they did not trouble me. Whenever you can listen to a storyteller who is that great, and about a concept that you're interested in, you do not care about the other parts. That's the end of the that. I did not stop listening up until the end. That's just how much I thought of it. I was glad to hear the proper articulation of all the words by a proficient audiobook producer.

The 5 stars really should be 6 stars. Yes, that's how it is. You heard me. I think it's so good that it is worthy of 6 stars. If you ask me, there is probably nothing greater on the marketplace about this specific theme. Not only did this book seem like it was top quality, but it also showed me essential aspects of life, and about this theme in particular, obviously. So, it definitely deserves a few hard-earned stars.

The 5 stars ought to be 6 stars. Yes, that's how it is. You heard me. I believe it's so good that it should have 6 stars. Both the storyteller and the writer put some actual effort into this. In my opinion, it was pretty perfect. There might perhaps have been a couple of hardly detectable mistakes in there, but they didn't bother me. Whenever you are able to listen to a narrator who is this good, and about a theme that you're interested in, you do not care about the rest. That's the end of the that.
