Description
In this episode, I want to introduce you to an acronym I've created called JABS: Judgment, Abandonment, Blame, and Shame, primarily directed inward.
These emotional punches not only impact us but reverberate through our relationships and daily lives.
Anxiety often has roots in unresolved childhood trauma stored in our bodies, not just our thoughts. Self-judgment can activate a cycle of self-criticism, hindering our nervous system regulation.
Healing begins with self-awareness. Recognizing self-judgment, self-abandonment, self-blame, and self-shame patterns is the first step toward transformation. Empower yourself by establishing a compassionate connection with your inner child. You have the power to change your narrative.
I would like to note that this podcast is going to be REPETITIVE and it’s designed that way. It is repetitive because I want to get into the deeper subcortical parts of your brain where the voice of the inner critic is stored.
Thank you for listening and you can find me on IG: @theanxietymd if you have any questions.
