Description
"Taking your transition at your own pace is totally okay!" Double Trouble! Get ready ya'll because you get two plant-based dietitians this week! I am so excited to welcome, Lauren McNeill, a Registered Dietitian based in Canada who specializes in plant-based nutrition, with a Masters of Public Health in Nutrition and Dietetics and a collaborative specialization in women's health. Lauren started her plant-based journey by going vegetarian ten years ago, then slowly transitioned to veganism when studying nutrition in her undergraduate degree. I often feel like our neighbors to the north are always several steps ahead of us in progress, so I loved having this discussion from the perspective of a Canadian dietitian. She now runs a virtual private practice where she helps those who are vegetarian, vegan or those who simply want to incorporate more plant-based foods into their everyday eating pattern thrive on a plant-based diet. She also has launched an online program called "Thriving on Plant-Based Fundamentals" that we have linked below.
