THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY: FROM CLASSICAL CONCEPTION TO CO-PRODUCER CONCEPTION
1. INTRODUCTION
The traditional view of epistemology regarding the problem of the production and validation of scientific knowledge has a restricted meaning that refers to the "historical, psychological and sociological circumstances that lead to obtaining scientific knowledge and the criteria with which it is obtained". justifies or invalidates" (Klimovsky, 1995: 28), meaning that focuses on individualism, rationalism and realism.
Thomas Kuhn's theorizing and his paradigm concept changed this perspective and offered a different explanation and understanding of the problem. Also in recent years, a new critical review of the production and validation of knowledge has been carried out that proposes to rethink the link between science and observation. The foregoing results from the observation that more and more individuals without scientific training ("laymen") are involved in debates and activities concerning scientific production and the way in which it influences their daily lives, through forums, NGOs , internet publications, etc.

THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY: FROM CLASSICAL CONCEPTION TO CO-PRODUCER CONCEPTION
1. INTRODUCTION
The traditional view of epistemology regarding the problem of the production and validation of scientific knowledge has a restricted meaning that refers to the historical, psychological and sociological circumstances that lead to obtaining scientific knowledge and the criteria with which it is obtained
. justifies or invalidates" (Klimovsky, 1995: 28), meaning that focuses on individualism, rationalism and realism.
Thomas Kuhn's theorizing and his paradigm concept changed this perspective and offered a different explanation and understanding of the problem. Also in recent years, a new critical review of the production and validation of knowledge has been carried out that proposes to rethink the link between science and observation. The foregoing results from the observation that more and more individuals without scientific training (laymen
) are involved in debates and activities concerning scientific production and the way in which it influences their daily lives, through forums, NGOs , internet publications, etc.
The foregoing means that it is necessary to rethink the traditional categories of layman
and expert
; idea that QUESTIONS THE LIMITS OF THE EXTENSION OF THE SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY. Indeed, the sociology of medicine is a discipline that has reflected on the epistemic communities formed from a dynamic of CO-PRODUCTION OF MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE. This text aims to address different aspects of this co-production dynamic.
2. THE KUHNIAN NOTION OF SCIENTIFIC COMMUNITY
COMMUNITY
• In contrastive terms: as a notion opposed to that of INDIVIDUAL. The community is a supra-individual instance that cannot be reduced simply to the sum of the individuals that compose it.
• In performative or productive terms: The cohesion that sustains the community depends on a shared realization, production or activity.
Both conceptual approaches will guide the reflection around the scientific community.
For Thomas Kuhn, what is shared by a group of professionals and supported by the scientific community is the PARADIGM, that is, THE RECOGNITION OF PAST SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS that serve as the foundation for his own scientific practice. In the period of stability known as NORMAL SCIENCE, scientists share the same paradigm from which they interpret nature and serve as the basis for solving enigmas and accumulating knowledge.
The fact of sharing a paradigm also establishes the limit between those who are inside the scientific community (esoteric work) and those who are outside (exoteric, informal
