About this ebook

The Colonel must be near the bottom of the barrel when he asks Rage and Jones to act as reporters for an article on NATO. Of course they say yes without knowing the full extent of their involvement or risks.
The training site in Washington is an exact duplicate of everyplace they will go in Brussels, down to a quarter of an inch. Even the views out their windows are almost live from Brussels. All the other people at the replicated hotel and other places are wearing masks and speaking their own language. This is giving a true feel for when they will be in Brussels.
While in the training center, someone attempts to halt their involvement by kidnapping them one night. The attempt fails and the Colonel sends those making the attempt to Guantanamo, Cuba for questioning.
Rage now has on her ring finger a rock that would chock an ostrich. They go to Canada, where their mission will be explained in detail. Except it is not the Colonel but Sergeant Tree in civilian clothes is there to explains it. Rage feels her short skirt and ‘tight sweater’ is a bit much and way out of uniform. All three boost on two jet fighters to a NATO base in England. Rage and Jones are stuffed into a two-seater jet. Flight time is only three hours in the air. They refuel over Iceland.
Upon landing, they are now Samuel Warehouser and his bride to be, Janette. Two reporters working on a story
Sergeant Tree follows them to Brussels, and she is their contact until the Colonel arrives. Their hotel suite is exactly as their training apartment.
They attend two receptions while in Brussels the US Ambassador’s and NATO’s. Their cover is not complete until they have a makeover to fit their new clothing. Janette becomes a strawberry blond and Samuel becomes a light hair, with a sandy complexion. Janette’s red dress will be a knockout if she does not fall out first.
The mission is now made clear. The NATO Code has likely been broken or at least compromised. Samuel and Janette must determine which it is; so the Colonel can repair the damage and identify those responsible.
In a supposedly secure room, which it is not, Rage, Jones, and the Colonel misdirects everyone, which will make NATO secure.
The Colonel flies to Cuba to question the seven people captured at the training center. He turns five over to the base commander; he shoots the two leaders when they would not talk.
The flight home is without the Sergeant, but with plenty of gifts bought with the bad guy’s money.
And what of Rage’s engagement ring she has been showing everyone?
