MY FRIENDS HAVE always called me the “nice” one. I never intentionally set out to foster that impression; I guess some people are just born with a natural bent toward being pleasant. My niceness has given me many blessings in my life, so it never occurred to me that one day it would become my biggest cockblock.

I met this guy on Grindr a few weeks ago. Great-looking otter type: dark features, medium body hair, shaggy but well-kept hair, starring Brendan Fraser. I’d soon learn that he owned a bust from the film that he displayed near his nightstand. It was kind of hot.
