Detective Rage has a murder of a maid in the old, old money area of Delridge in Seattle. The case has her stimmed. Researching the old case files, she finds two other murders 23 years apart on the same day of the month at the Andover mansion.
Jones is home recovering and uses his computer to find another murder in 1881, same day of the month from newspaper files. This was the year the Andover mansion was being built.
How many more murders are hidden in the old, dusty files? Do they follow the 23-year cycle, and all be on the same day? Will Jones be able to tie the victims altogether where none are Andover family members. But first he suggests a ghost or a curse on the house.
Will any judge permit Rage to dig up all the victims and the old Andover members to test for DNA?

Chapter 1 Multiple Murders

It is six months since the ‘Pick Pocket Case’. A typical case for homicide Detective Rage. Her and patrolman Jones raced toward Kent south of Seattle in an unmarked police car. Jones was kicking fences down and houses are blowing up until the case was solved.

Patrolman Jones being the nice guy is working a shift for a friend.

Patrolman Jones has been on the police force over seven years. During that time, he has proven himself to be decisive, hardworking and one of the few officers who shoots as well as Detective Rage.

Patrolman Samuel Jones is in his early 30’s, six-feet two inches, a rock if you were ever to bounce into him. He is bright and a quick study. He wanted to get into the Seattle SWAT unit, but it was full and had a waiting list. The smaller cities around Seattle either had no SWAT unit or they did but their pay was poor. He decided he would pay his dues while being a Patrolman in Seattle. The ladies say he is a fine looker in his uniform. He never talks about his service on a Navy Seal team because it was all classified. The SWAT leader wanted him, but the list is the list.
