About this ebook

A short documentary film for TV requested to shoot it on Detective Smith’s vacation property. The price is right and it will take only several weeks. It has a few props and many swimsuit models. Detective Rage and Sergeant Jones were also in it as extras. Did Detective Rage go up into the model's line-up? If so, what does she wear for the shoot? Sergeant Jones was in the male line up.
A short time later the same producer asks if they could shoot a two-hour movie on the property. Of course, the effort, money, people, and sets needed would be much more.
Detective Smith is concerned about many things for the movie. The least of which is his money. They will need housing, food, transportation, building the sets, changes to the property, security, etc. Just how much will he have to provide, even when they pay for it?
Inspector Strong’s wife Mildred, Detective Smith’s wife, Ruth plus Detective Rage, and Sergeant Jones are excited about being in a real movie.
But many items start to appear they had not thought about. King County wants to provide a sound stage for shooting some scenes, the State will provide an undisclosed amount of money if the movie company abides by certain rules. Also, the small town is full of people, some crews and extras are housed in tents in the city park and on Detective Smith’s property.
Then the action scenes: such as, car chases, boat chases, props being blown up, and explosions are all on Detective Smith’s property. In addition all the beach scenes with all the models dressed as little as legal, plus all the extras. Then some of the props and sets must be moved from the sound stage to the location on his vacation property. The police chopper will be used to fly them there.

Detective Rage is swimming in Lake Chelan to relax before watching the final scenes. Jones on the buoy watching her. Near the area where the final scenes are to be shot. she finds military explosives. Later the choppers taking the Inspector’s team back to Seattle may have a problem.
Does the producer or some other rivals have other plans for his film?

    Chapter 1 Introductions

    Detective Harry Smith’s introduction.

The senior homicide Detective Harry Smith is the ‘go by the book’ type. He grinds out cases with hard, solid police work, and has been on the force for nineteen years. He is from the old school and the suit coat never comes off. Nothing seems to bother him on the outside. He is famous for his Sears’s Suckers suits. Occasionally when things are not going to well, Detective Smith starts to rub his full head of hair. Every hair has been trained for thirty years. No matter what happens they do return to their chosen place, after he has a good rub.

    His wife’s name is Ruth.

Detective Janette Wanda Rage’s introduction. Her badge number is 7304.

She had been a patrolman for several years. She was the first officer to carry a Colt 45s in the entire police force. The police began reviewing their entire small arms procedure after this. It all came about when patrolman Rage riding as a rookie patrolman became involved with a street gang. The situation got out of control and Internal Affairs stuck their nose in after it was all over. You can understand better what and why she carries a Colt 45 as her standard sidearm after reading the ‘13th Street Gang.’

The now rookie Homicide Detective Janette Rage has been on the Police force for almost eight years. She is bright, aggressive, and dedicated to the job. She takes a fair amount of ribbing about her last name and the color of her hair. It usually goes on until they see her empty a clip of sixteen rounds at twenty yards into a 4-inch circle. She shoots a competition matched pair of Colt 45s. If that is not enough, she will crack a few ribs, and she will do it again in the gym.

She is a very powerful and attractive young woman with a real bang. She picked the spot she wanted to finish in the final ranking as a patrolman. She is always looking down the road before she jumps. In slow or
