    Chapter 1 The Friendly Talk

In the female’s locker room at police headquarters patrolman Rage is coming off patrol. She is surprised to find one of the very few female line lieutenant waiting for her at her locker.

Rage has been a patrolman for almost five years and still carries the Colt 45. The Major of the patrol force is still carrying the police six shot special. But that is slowly changing after the incident at the Awards Ceremony. See the ‘13th Street Gang’ case file.

Lieutenant James leans across her desk, "We do have a few female line officers, but we have even fewer female detectives. It is seldom done but there is nothing in the regs that says you must have your strips to become a detective. If you pass the academy you become a detective. I have read your complete jacket. While you have little line command experience that is again not absolute necessary to get
