Practising Mindfulness Can Help Our Health and Well-Being
()
About this ebook
There are ways to overcome mindlessness and become more attentive to your health. When we live in an unconscious manner, we don’t sleep well, eat right, exercise, nor take the time to consistently do things which are healthy for us. Instead, we overwork, overeat, overthink, and experience constant sleeplessness because of our anxiety. We go through our days exhausted and drained. This can result in less than healthy patterns of living and being. These unhealthy patterns can later result in various chronic, acute, and serious illnesses.
Therefore, being mindful has many health benefits from experiencing less stress to less frustration. These benefits are important to our overall fulfillment and happiness. Mindfulness is a unique way of living that requires that we change how we live.
In this e-book, I laid out fifteen ways for you to develop mindfulness. It really is possible to live a mindful life with a shift of our focus or attention from the outside to the inside. In the process, we will become more aware of our negative self-talk so that we can live in the moment. Each moment has unique challenges. However, by breathing into them instead of resisting them we can release them.

Introduction
We tend to take our health for granted until we can no longer do so because we have become ill. That’s the sad thing about the human condition, isn’t it? Our human nature tends to take things for granted until it is thrown into a serious medical situation. That’s when we pay attention. But many times, we don’t get a second chance with our health. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could be more proactive and mindful of how we felt before we hit a crisis point?
Many times, we go through life unconscious of our surroundings and especially of what is happening inside of us. Many of us may not even think something is wrong unless we stopped a few times a day and took stock on a regular basis. Many of us would notice that we had a pain on the right side of our stomach and lower abdomen or the tension in our shoulders. But
