    Getting into the habit of saying positive statements to yourself regularly has many benefits. It can help you get into the right mindset for the day and be more productive, it can help you set goals and achieve them, it can build confidence and self-esteem, it will make you feel more positive about yourself and your life overall.

    Say positive affirmations in front of a mirror or out loud with others around (a friend or family member). This is because they are more likely to believe what they say if they hear themselves saying it out loud.

    Write down your affirmations on sticky notes and put them where you’ll see them throughout the day (e.g., on your bathroom mirror).

    Make sure that every affirmation is clear, specific and believable so that it will have an effect on your life.

    Positive affirmations can help shape your self-image. But, if you aren’t feeling it just yet, try recording yourself reading the affirmations out loud and play it back through your headphones first thing in the morning as this helps embed them in your subconscious.

    You can listen to the songs of birds and enjoy their flight through the air. You can also see them sitting on trees, or flying in flocks over a stream. Wake up an hour earlier and you will be able to watch squirrels and rabbits playing outside your window.
