Happy Satiated Saturday! For a long time, I would rather feel uncomfortably full than feel my emotions. I would rather eat too much, than drop into my body. I would rather feel so hungry that I couldn't feel anything at all. When you're in the process of healing your relationship with food, often there can be an over focus on what is happening with food. Your relationship with food is a window into your relationship with your emotions. When your emotions and sensations feel safe to experience, then your relationship with food can change.
