Description

The plaintiff loaned her sister money, but the defendant hasn’t paid her back, so the plaintiff is suing for what she says she’s owed. The defendant claims she paid her sister back in gift cards and sold her two chairs at a discounted price. Besides, the defendant argues, the plaintiff is no sister to her because she didn’t even reach out to her when her son died.
The plaintiff hired the defendant to repair her deck. However, the plaintiff alleges that the defendant’s work was “horrendous.” She claims the defendant only showed up three times, dug holes in the wrong spot, and left the job unfinished. The plaintiff is suing for a refund. The defendant argues that he did a lot of work for the plaintiff, and he doesn’t owe her anything.
