Description
The plaintiff brings her stepmom to court. She says the defendant lied to a judge about who her father is, which caused her to not inherit money from her deceased father. She’s suing for defamation of character. The defendant argues she doesn’t owe anything.
Then, the plaintiff sold wood to the defendant and claims the defendant tried to return it. He says he doesn’t take wood back and the defendant stopped the check from going through, so he’s suing for the payment. The defendant says the plaintiff advertised seasoned wood for sale but claims the wood wouldn’t light up. He refuses to pay.
