In this episode, I’m talking about The Millennial Nutritionist method for weight loss and how I became a weight loss coach. There is a lot of discussion on diet culture and whether weight loss coaching is a healthy service to offer people, and for good reason. During my job as a Registered Dietitian in a hospital, I saw countless patients hospitalized from following fad diets and taking synthetic supplements from fitness gurus who had no formal education in the nutrition field. They were desperate to lose weight and use “food as medicine,” but they were falling victim to a slew of misinformation online. That’s why myself and my team of Registered Dietitians counsel people with a focus on educating and empowering our clients in a non-judgemental environment. I get into all of that and more in this episode!
