Denver-based clinical sports psychologist, Dr. Justin Ross, the founder of Mind Body Health, LLC,  helps athletes all over the world to develop high performance skills aimed at peak performance.   In this episode, Justin provides tips for scenarios that runners experience while training and racing, including overcoming pre-race and performance anxiety, negative thoughts, process and outcome goals, and the impact of social media on our mental approach to training.  Justin, who is a 2:57 marathoner, will be running his fourth Boston Marathon in April and provides race specific tips so that we can be mentally and physically strong on race day.   His masterclass, Unlock Your Athletic Potential, is now available on the Insight Timer App.
