Elite Canadian runner, Rachel Hannah, R.D. has an impressive running career as the Canadian champion in the 10K, half marathon and cross country events, along with earning the bronze medal at the 2015 Pan Am games. In the middle of her success, Rachel encountered a number of obstacles. Rachel talks about her struggle with amenorrhea and low bone density, which resulted in multiple potentially career ending injuries. She discusses how she approached injury and recovery and how she overcame the weight pressures that are so prevalent in distance running to recover and continue running professionally.
