Description
If you went out for a run with Heather, you'd think she was just a badass lady that runs fast and makes friends with everyone she meets. What you would never guess, is that she has been through the wringer time and time again. In 2000 she started to experience very random physical symptoms. Things like open sores all over her body, hair loss, joint stiffness, facial lesions and rashes. In 2001 she was finally diagnosed with Systemic Lupus and main symptom was joint stiffness and extreme sensitivity to the sun. So, she retired from soccer and road running to find shade in the trails. Have questions for the show? Want to work together? Find me @hilsport55 or ruggedconditioning.com
