About this ebook

Muhura an evil man because of his anger on god decided to expand his empire in the whole of the universe.  He started doing atrocities in the world taking the help of bad angels. But the great psychiatrist Sahamooti and parapsychologist Vamsi demolished the palace in which Muhura and his gang were stationed and made them powerless and helter-skelter for a long time. This is the story of the book 'Amaswitha' written prior to this book and connected to this book. But this book 'Sasikala' can be read and enjoyed without reading the book 'Amaswitha'

But it has been made clear that Muhura, Ahina and the bad angels would only be scattered, incapacitated for some time but they would not be destroyed completely by demolishing the evil palace which was constructed by Sasinadh at the instance of Muhura for him and his bad angels. It has been further made clear, that Muhura and his gang sooner or later could gather together, get their powers back, strike on their betrayers and the world again.

After six months of the demolition of the evil palace, odd and horrifying incidents started to happen again. Aravind's daughter 'Sarita' and psychiatrist Rose's daughter 'Emily' started behaving odd and it has been thought as 'split-personality' for sometime. But as psychiatrists Charles and Niranjan's wives were also behaving oddly, they have to consider the whole of their four behavior in a different angle. Vamsi's inability to contact Amaswitha anymore along with other odd and fearsome incidents also put them in anxiety.

When Sahamooti proposed to make an experiment with the help of Aravind to invite Amaswitha, Aravind agreed to the same. The séance proposed by Sahamooti to invite Amaswitha and talk with her after the failure of the experiment with Aravind, was agreed by each and everyone. How the séance has been conducted, how Vamsi, Sahamooti and Aravind solved the problem of Muhura and his gang forever is the story of this novel 'Sasikala.'

    Chapter-1

T ell me Sir, what really you want to tell. We both are hundred percent ready to discuss this matter with you Charles said looking at Sahamooti who sat opposite to him. On the right side of Sahamooti, Rose sat.

Instead of answering that question, Sahamooti leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes.

Charles was not very much interested in that meeting even however much he liked and revered that famous psychiatrist Sahamooti. Looking into the expression of Rose, he understood that she also was feeling just like that. Anyhow as Sahamooti was such an important person to both of them, they could not deny his wish to meet like this and discuss the matter.

More than six months have passed after demolition of that palace and new constructions also were made in that place. No untoward incidents happened so far. Why do we unnecessarily worry all about this? as Sahamooti did not prefer to say anything and remained silent, Rose said.

Sahamooti opened his eyes and looked into the face of Rose while a small smile climbed onto his lips. The same charmingness and the same glamour! Whatever may be the situation around, she never failed to have her influence especially on him. The resplendency in her glamour even after her fortieth year also was always amazing to him.

I know very well that you both are not very much enthusiastic about this meeting. I can understand your feelings well. In both of your opinion as the evil palace demolished from its roots, we have destroyed that Muhura and his bad angels completely and there is no problem whatsoever from them. After saying so he hissed out heavily and looked into the face of Charles also.

Is it is not so in your opinion sir? Rose asked him with the same modulation in her voice. Is it is not so?

On that day itself I have made it very clear Rose, on that day itself, have you forgotten that?’ with gathered frowns Sahamooti looked into the face of Rose once again. We did not destroy that whole group by just demolishing that palace and we could not do so. We made them only unsettled and incapacitated for sometime. They group gather together and start their atrocities again sooner or later." He turned his head towards Charles again.

That means they do construct another palace like that with another person like Sasinath? Charles asked him.

I cannot say what they are going to do now. I cannot say where they are going to stationed themselves at present. It is really very difficult to know what their exact plans are. Nodding his head helplessly, Sahamooti said.

Rose and Charles looked into each other’s faces. Even they were not weighing much Sahamooti’s words, an unknown uneasiness entered into both of their hearts. Rose still could remember how her daughter Emily behaved while she was trying to study the books given by Sahamooti related to that Muhura and his evil group.

What we need to do now? What type of help you need from both of us? breaking that painful silence, Charles asked him.

Did you both go through the book I have given to you? Sahamooti asked them leaning back in the chair and closing his eyes again.

I did not read it thoroughly. I have given it to Charles along with the palm leaves book. Rose said.

Why did not you read it thoroughly? You have shown so much of interest on that day in reading those books. What happened? knitting his brows together, Sahamooti asked.

Rose clipped her inner lip between her teeth frames and remained silent. She was thinking whether it was better to tell or not what has become to their daughter while the books were in their home and she tried to read them. This old fellow would give even more importance whatever he was saying, if she told him about that.

Rose why you are hesitating? What prevented you to read the book thoroughly? looking surprisingly into her face, Sahamooti asked her again. Charles also was looking eagerly into her face. Rose did not tell how her daughter behaved in those days to Charles either.

I am not thinking it was because of my reading of that book, I am not thinking it was because of that evil group, but my daughter behaved quite strangely in those days. Then she explained how Emily behaved in those few days during which she tried to read that book.

Why did not you tell me about this? Charles irritatingly said. Those both books were in his home now and what was going to happen in his family, thinking so he felt fear.

What it is, in your opinion, that your daughter has behaved like that? looking curiously into her face, Sahamooti asked her.

There came a troubling expression in the face of Rose and she remained silent again.

Ever your daughter disturbed psychologically in the past? Sahamooti was still looking at her with the same curiosity.

No, of course Rose nodded her head in negation. She was perfect mentally and physically also till that date.

Then why Sahamooti once again looked into the face of Charles and again into the face of Rose Why she behaved only like that then?

I cannot say, I just cannot say Rose nodded her head helplessly.

But I can say Sahamooti said. They just don’t want either of you to help me in my holy mission. Only for preventing you both, from providing me help in my holy mission, they caused a disturbance like that in your daughter, dear. I am thinking that they have got success in that.

May be so. I just don’t know what to say. Rose really could not think of what to say at that moment.

Charles and Rose Sahamooti said. I want to make one point very clear here. That evil group does not leave you both either if you help me in destroying them. It is not just because the atrocity that Muhura committed on my family, mainly to prevent that Muhura’s atrocities in the world, I put myself in the holy mission of destroying him along with his gang. I don’t know whether I can get success or not, but I am not going to stop. If you both also help me in this regard, I shall feel so happy. But if you feel fear to that evil group and don’t like to participate in my holy mission, I never compel you. I don’t even talk about this to you people anymore.

I always hundred percent ready to help you in your mission in whichever way you want. Charles said with firmness in his face. We both have made this point quite clear to you previously also. I never swerve from my stand I took. You just need to tell me whatever help you want from me.

The same with me also sir Rose said with the same sort of firmness in her voice also. I just want to hear from you what I need to do in this regard.

I want you both to go through the book I gave to you as thoroughly as possible. Sahamooti said. My main purpose in my visiting you both on this day is; are you both still with the same resolve to help me in destroying that evil group. I too have to think a lot and make a plan how to go against that Muhura and his evil gang. I do meet you again once I am ready with a plan. We shall be perfectly ready before that Muhura, Ahina and the rest become powerful and strike on us and the world also.

Are you that much sure that Muhura and his gang become operational again? Is there no chance at all that they became incapacitated completely? with slight hope in his voice Charles asked him.

If it is so there would be no other person much happier than me but I am not expecting like that. Leaning back in the chair and hissing out heavily Sahamooti said.

Alright sir, we both are ready to help you whenever you want. Just be assured about that Rose said.

Whatever help that may be and in whichever you want. Now both those books are with me. I read them thoroughly. I wish Rose also do read them again. By the time we meet you again, both of us do have complete understanding of those books. Charles said.

You cannot read the un-translated book. I am really feeling surprise how our sir translated that one into that comprehensive and easy understanding language. While looking admiringly into the face of Sahamooti, Rose said.

It was not an easy exercise to me either. It took lot many hours to me also to do that job. Sahamooti sighed heavily.

There was some silence between them three before it was broken by Charles. We want you to stay with us few days. It will be quite easier to you to think and form a plan if you stay here itself.

Yes, Sir. I want you to come to my home also. I want you to see my daughter and husband. You never have seen them till now. Rose said.

Thank you very much for the invitation. But not now. There are other very important works to me at present to look after. I sure do stay here more days in future. I visit both your houses also then. With a smile on his lips, Sahamooti said.

Vamsi has a strong feeling in himself and he knew very well why he was feeling like that. Amaswitha wanted to contact him again and he knew very well why she wanted to talk with him then.

Pramod, Amaswitha wants to talk with me. We both do have discussion again. This time also I need a lot help from you. While looking expectantly into his face, Vamsi said.

Just count on me, I do provide any type of help you want. Getting off from the chair he sat, Pramod said. How can I forget the help you did to me? Whatever help I may do, it would always be less comparing with the help you did to me.

I many times said to you that never venture to say like this. With a smile on his lips Vamsi said. I thought you as my another brother and did that.

Alright, alright Pramod nodded his head and went away from that place.

D o you angry with me Vamsi, do you angry with me? as soon as she appeared in the psyche of Vamsi, Amaswitha asked him.

Why you are thinking that I do angry with you? looking surprisingly into her face, Vamsi asked her.

I have made you away from your lover Sanjana. I can say how much you are feeling about that. I also know how much she is feeling about this. You both are just going to be married and I made you come here like this. With a distressing voice, Amaswitha said.

Immediately Sanjana’s depressing figure came onto the surface of his mind and it instantly filled his heart also with distress. What Amaswitha said about that was hundred percent true. But he just did not know what to say to that.

I am sorry Vamsi. If it is not for destroying that Muhura and his gang, I never would have separated you both like that. Once they assemble again, once they get their powers back, there would be no restraint to their atrocities. I am thinking that it is my responsibility to stop them, to destroy them. It is only you who can help me in this regard dear boy. With the same smooth voice Amaswitha said again.

I am feeling happy that I can be helpful in your mission, Amaswitha Vamsi said with a firm voice. I can say that neither I, nor Sanjana are happy for the separation like this now. In fact Sanjana is very much distressing for this as she did not know what is offing. But this is important. Just don’t bother about anything and concentrate on what we need to do.

Alright, alright he heard from Amaswitha. But just we both are not enough for this Vamsi. We have to get all the help possible in the entire universe. I, on my side, try to contact all the angels that are against Muhura and his group. You from your side meet all the people who do help you. By the time that Muhura and his group are ready, we need to be powerful and prepared in all respects.

I understood Vamsi said. It shall be so. You don’t need to worry. But I want to ask you one thing.

    Tell me what it is?

Are you really very much ready to destroy that Muhura completely and make him non-existent? You both have been together for many lives, still you are the weakness to him, still he has that much love on you. Frowns gathered on the face of Vamsi.

There has come a painful and troubling expression on the face of Amaswitha.

Is there no chance at all to change that Muhura rather than destroying him? He loves you that much and he may hear you if you say again and again to him to change.

There is no chance at all. He never does change. Moreover..... she paused for a moment before saying again. I am not thinking that he does have the same love and affection on me now also. In this life also I have turned out as a perfect betrayer to him.

There was once again painful silence between them both and Amaswitha broke that again. Yes Vamsi. There is no chance. Now I am feeling love only towards my husband, my son and to the human kind. I still don’t remember any of my previous lives and I don’t want either. Destroying that Muhura along with his gang entirely is only my mission now. I know one thing for sure. That Muhura would not leave my son and his family once he becomes powerful. To save mainly my son and his family from that Muhura, I have to destroy him.

The same painful silence prevailed between them both for some more time and this time it was Vamsi who broke it. Are you thinking that it is possible to destroy that Muhura? Can we do that?

We seek god’s help. There is nothing impossible with god’s grace Vamsi.

Then from his psychic vision Amaswitha was slowly disappeared but Vamsi remained sitting on the mat on the floor keeping his both hands in his lap for some more time.

Sanjana was in her Red Bird Mental Care and she was waiting for the patient to whom she gave an appointment. She was not at all feeling well after Vamsi left her like that saying that it was important to him to go to his village.

May I know when do you come back? they both were in this clinic on that day and he came here particularly to talk with her about that.

I cannot say when I do come back. It may take time. There was distress in his voice.

Why you are thinking it would take time? Any of your family members are ill? with gathered frowns she asked him. She knew that his father died in Vamsi’s childhood itself and he has widowed mother, brother and sister.

No of course. There is no problem with my family. He paused for a moment before saying again. I want to say the truth to you. This is because of Amaswitha. She asked me to come there. She does have more power in the village she born. We both have to be put ourselves once again into another mission darling.

Vamsi, you became just mad, stare mad! Sanjana got off from the chair she sat and yelled. There is no Amaswitha, no Muhura, no Ahina and nothing like that. All that is your imagination and a sort of hallucination. We have had a discussion about it before and you agreed to it.

Vamsi leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes.

Sanjana came near to the other chair beside Vamsi and slumped herself in it. Go to your village Vamsi and take your family members also here. We need as many of our family members as possible for our marriage ceremony. But........ she paused for a moment before saying again. Don’t put yourself into that mad thinking once again. Just come out of that delusion.

Alright, I do just like that, don’t worry. Vamsi said but the expression in his face said different to her.

When you do want to leave Vamsi? We fix our marriage date once you are here with your family members. We are already too late for that. Looking hopefully into his face, Sanjana said.

The troubling expression was intensified even more in Vamsi’s face. I shall try to be here as fast as possible Sanjana.

When do you want to leave for your village?

On this day itself Vamsi got off from the chair If you don’t mind I want to move now. There is only one hour time to the train to departure.

Without any warrant Sanjana also stood up, put her both hands around his neck and kissed perfunctorily on both his cheeks. Oh, Vamsi. Even you don’t tell me I can say you do come here only when that Amaswitha let you to come here. Whether it is your imagination or true, whether that Amaswitha is really in existence or not, your coming here and doing anything is completely depended on that Amaswitha. She sighed heavily and said again But I just want to make something quite sure.

Tell me what it is? forcing a smile onto his lips, Vamsi asked her.

Whatever you may do or under whoever control you may be, my love on you never does change. All the time I wish you to be safe and be successful in whatever you are going to do. Then she kissed on his lips.

Thank you, thank you very much my dear he just held her like that for sometime and she understood it had become indeed very much painful to him also to separate himself from her then.

Then he left that place and she just remained staring at him until his figure completely disappeared from her vision. She proposed to go with him unto the railway station but he did not agree to that at all.

As she was suffering like that with that memory, the boy in the clinic came into her chamber and said that the person to whom she gave appointment to come at that time, came.

Send him in  Sanjana nonchalantly said.

Within seconds that person came straight and slumped himself in the chair opposite to her.

I know you are not the patient but his father. You said that your son is not at all in a position to discuss his matter with me. Leaning back in the chair and looking into his face, Sanjana said.

You are right. That person nodded his head. It is not just he is not in a position to discuss about his problem but he is not even in our world. He is completely distraught and in shock.

If the condition is like that Sanjana stooped in the chair and balanced herself on her arms in the table in between both their chairs. I may not be enough to treat him. He has to be taken to a mental hospital and be treated by a psychiatrist. If you want I can refer a good mental hospital and skilful psychiatrists there.....

I have no objection whatsoever to that that person interrupted her. But I heard you are very much skillful and I want you to hear the problem fully first. Then I do in whichever you want me to do.

Sunita recommended her to these people. A small smile climbed onto the lips of Sanjana on remembering that. In fact, that Sunita’s son’s problem was solved by Vamsi but not her. But Sunita still has the same confidence on her. Sanjana knew it was mainly because of the friendship between them both but not her skill.

Alright. Tell me about it completely then. Once again leaning back in the chair and sighing heavily Sanjana asked him.

My name is Ranganadh.  Vinod is my only son and aged twenty eight years. He is doing job in a software company and drawing comfortable salary. Financially we are having no problems. He is educated, intelligent and handsome I must say. Life is so good to him, to me and to my wife also. My wife and I are thinking to perform his marriage with a suitable bride as soon as possible. He paused for a moment and said If you don’t mind I take the water bottle before you. I am feeling terribly thirsty.

Do so, I have no objection. Proffering the water bottle towards him Sanjana said.

Taking the water bottle into his hands, opening the cap of it, Ranganadh drank half of the water from it without stopping. Thank you he fixed the cap to the bottle again and put the bottle in the same place. Suddenly he came to us on one day and said that he is in love with a girl. We have no objection whatsoever to that. What all my wife and I want is that my son should be married and live a happy life with his wife. He paused once again.

Sanjana remained observing him so. She did not want to hasten him. She never hastened any of her patients to tell about their problems. Even this gentleman was not her patient direct, she knew it was better to let him to take his time.

He has shown the photographs of that girl in his smart phone to us. She is that much glamorous to us and we felt surprise how she had fallen in love with our son. Our son is handsome but not a match to that girl at all. We expressed our willingness to him and asked him to take the full particulars of her. He took all the particulars of her and she is also only daughter to her parents. On one day we went to the house of that girl and talked with her parents. They did say neither ‘yes’ nor ‘no’ to our proposal.

What that means? suddenly a frown gathered on the face of Sanjana.

That is what we too could not understand. They did not say anything. They did not say whether they intend to perform their daughter’s marriage with our son or not. They did not say that even they do think about it. They just heard whatever we have said. We left our son’s photograph and other details there and came to our home. We said the same thing to our son also. There was once again silence until it was broken by Ranganadh himself.

We said everything to our son. He was shocked and surprised. In fact our son and she have been meeting and talking with each other as often as possible by then. The next day when they both met again our son told her what happened. Surprisingly she did not make any comment on that. Our son pressed her to know whether she does like to marry him or not but she did not say anything. Just like her parents she also remained silent.

    There was once again silence.

The next two days also our son and she met and talked. On the third day our son did not leave her and pressed her to tell the reason for her silence on the important issue. He asked her to make it clear whether she wanted to marry him or not. Then she suddenly broke out and told him the truth. He paused once again.

What that truth is? Sanjana asked as the silence became too much for her.

Oh, god! I just don’t know how to say that to you.  Nodding his head helplessly, Ranganadh said.

I can understand the severity of it as it made him mad like that. Moreover I could guess what it was also. Anyhow I want to hear it from you. Tell me what it was. Adjusting herself in the chair for more comfort, Sanjana said.

You could guess what it is? looking surprisingly into her eyes, Ranganadh asked her.

I think my assumption is right. Anyhow why do we waste too much of time? Tell me what it is? while her charming smile taking its place on her lips, Sanjana asked him.

Alright, I tell you Ranganadh nodded his head and said. She said that she is a man but not a woman.

He liked to be dressed like a girl in the childhood and later like a woman. The urge was so great in him and that he could not just stop himself from doing so. His parents also could not take any change in him. Except the basic things in his body, everything else turned out just like of a woman’s. Her voice also became just like of a girl’s. The most ironical thing in whole of this issue is, he turned out to be a pretty glamorous woman. After falling deeply in love with her so, your son could not digest that and turned mad. There is no surprise at all. While Ranganadh looking surprisingly into her face, Sanjana said.

It did not end there in fact with admiration in his face as Sanjana could guess it like that, Ranganadh said.

What is more in it then? once again frowns gathered beautifully on the forehead of Sanjana.

After divulging the truth and got my son shocked so, I don’t know what that girl or boy, I don’t know how to refer, has undergone mentally, committed suicide.

My god! Is it is true? Sanjana became erect in her chair on hearing that.

Absolutely true. I have no joy whatsoever in telling a lie like that. Ranganadh nodded his head helplessly. My son’s situation is even worse. He just became completely mad. He is just staring ahead all the time. He is not talking even a little. There is no recognition in his eyes and the expression in his face is always blank. We just don’t know what to do with him.

Is he is not at all in a position to hear anything? clipping her inner lip between her teeth frames, Sanjana asked him.

No, not even the least he is in a position to hear anything. All the time he is staring ahead with a blank expression in his face. That much he was shocked on hearing that. Ranganadh said.
