    About me

Iam an Indian English writer write mostly fiction books and so far I have written thirty books out of which twenty eight books are romantic, psychological thrillers and the remaining two are non-fiction books, Body, Mind and You and English Grammar Simplifier. The word count of my books range from 15,000 to 3,50,000 and the total word count of all my books is more than 30,00,000 (Thirty Lakhs Words). I have a weakness, I don’t get the feeling that I wrote the book if someone else edits the same, so I am my own editor to all my books. As such there is a pretty chance that you may come across grammatical, verbal mistakes, incongruities and inconsistencies while going through my books, then please pardon me and go ahead. I am always open as much as possible when it comes to sexual narrations in my books as I think sex is very main and natural characteristic not just in human beings but in all other creatures also. So you can find sexual narrations in my books graphical, absolute and complete. My heart-felt thanks to all those who have been purchasing my books all along, encouraging me and supporting me.

    Few words from the author

    Dear reader,

Thank you very much for your continuous encouragement. With your active support and encouragement, I have written 29 books so far. Not just because of the said encouragement but your demand also, I have written the present book, another romantic, psychological and paranormal thriller, ‘Rustle in the Leaves’.

It is just necessary to acquaint you with some matters about this ‘rustle In The leaves’ before letting you go through this 3,52,000 words romantic, psychological and paranormal thriller. You know some years back I have written the book ‘Amaswitha’. It is the story of an evil man Muhura who wants to conquer god and establish his own empire everywhere in the universe. I have put an end to Muhura in that book itself and I didn’t want to write a continuation to that book at all. But there was tremendous response for this book and considering the requests of the many readers just like you, I continued that story in my book ‘Sasikala’ and put an end to Muhura and his gang once again in that book and thought not to revive that Muhura and his gang again. But reader you are relentless and unsympathetic! You did not like the end of Muhura and his gang and want some more of them. So, to satisfy you in all respects and put an end to Muhura and his gang forever, I put myself in writing this mega romantic, psychological and paranormal thriller ‘rustle In The leaves’  with a word count of 3,52,000 rather big comparing with the previous two connecting books ‘Amaswitha’ and ‘Sasikala.’

What is the story of this ‘Rustle in the Leaves’? Muhura, Ahina who have been thought were taken by Vamsi the parapsychologist into him (you know this story through my book ‘Sasikala’) were revived again. Muhura started his atrocities in the world again particularly by torturing those who didn’t like to fulfill his nasty desires! Sahamooti, the great psychiatrist and Vamsi the parapsychologist saw the necessity of putting an end to Muhura and his gang again and forever and how Sahamooti and Vamasi with the help of some other people also, destroyed Muhura and his gang is the story of this book ‘Rustle in the Leaves.’ But dear reader, please understand one thing here, that I have put an end to Muhura and his gang in this book forever and I am not thinking to revive them again and continue their story in another book however much may be you like that.

Is this ‘Rustle in the Leaves’ just a continuation and conclusion to the stories in ‘Amaswitha’ and ‘Sasikala’? Of course no. Some days back I have written a book ‘Just Relax!’ You can see that story, that village and the characters involved in that story in this book ‘Rustle in the Leaves’ also. I have created a character psychiatrist Dr.Rose in my book ‘Rain Flower.’ That Dr.Rose plays a major role in this book ‘Rustle in the Leaves’ also. There is involvement of other stories and characters of my other books in this book also. But is there need and necessity to you to read those books also to understand and enjoy this book? No. Without reading any of those books including the prior two connecting books to it ‘Sasikala’ and ‘Amaswitha’, you can read this book and enjoy.

One important thing! Sex in this book! I am just open to the fullest extent possible whenever sexual matters came in this book. My idea is not at all to titillate you unnecessarily reader but in my opinion sex is just like any other thing in our humans’ life. It was just automatic and natural on my part becoming open fully whenever it comes to sexual descriptions and I just could not refrain myself from doing so. One humble submission! I am not the only one who wrote like this. There are so many famous writers dealt with sex in such a way and are dealing with it in such a way.

One other humble submission! You may come across some grammar mistakes, verbal mistakes while reading this book. It is just because I am my own editor and I cannot get the feeling I have written it if anyone else edits my book. If any grammar, verbal or other mistakes come across you and irritate you while you are reading this book, please pardon me, forget about those mistakes and go ahead. I assure you just like all my previous books, this book also would be enjoyable to you.

I have written this book for you, keeping in mind to give you as much entertainment and enjoyment as possible, with a word count of 3,52,000. I hope you do enjoy this book of mine as you have enjoyed all my books till now. Do you know what I really wish from you? An impartial and heartfelt review!

Thanking you for the encouragement till now and hoping the same for this book also,

    With warm regards,

    Writer,

    Kotra Siva Rama Krishna

    Chapter-1

O h, Rose! How is everything ? looking happily into the face of Rose, Charles asked her. You just don’t know who much happy I am feeling looking at you again.

Charles what is this? slumping herself in the chair opposite to him Rose said. My total absence here is just three days. What that much has happened just in these three days? Moreover I am not the only efficient psychiatrist here.

No, Rose. For some matters still we have to rely only on you. Charles got off from the chair and said looking into her face. I am not underrating the capacity of the other psychiatrists here but for some matters only you are capable to treat. This is the unanimous opinion of me and other psychiatrists here also.

You are exaggerating the issue Charles. Rose laughed and her laughter also as much charming as her smile. I have got the share of my failures also but they are not considered by any of you.

No, your failure rate is very little and you have got failure only in very impossible cases. None of us are oblivious of the fact that you are wonderful with most of our patients. Charles said.

Alright, alright. I am very happy hearing it from you like this. Tell me in which case you people need my help now. I am always ready to give as much help as I can not only to cure your patients but to save the reputation of this Black Ant Mental Care also. Rose said.

I am thinking that Dr.Niranjan may better say it straight to you. It is one of the cases he has been looking after. Niranjan is efficient, experienced and reputed but this has become beyond his capacity. Charles said.

But Charles... Rose said with a troubling expression in her face. Are you thinking that it is a best thing to refer his case to me? How he would feel about it?

It is his idea to take your help in this regard. He knows very well about you and you already have helped him in some of his cases. He just feels too much glad if you agree to look into this matter and help him in curing his patient. Charles said.

Alright then. Anyhow first I want to talk with that Niranjan. Adjusting herself in the chair for more comfort, Rose said.

H er name is Ranjani . First she got joined in the mild ward of our mental care. Our Vinod attended on her while she was in the mild ward. At that time itself Vinod opined that her case would not be solved by the treatment in the mild ward. Anyhow he tried to counsel her and put her to normalcy but it did not help. Very soon she has become beyond control and transferred into wild ward where she has been entrusted to our Niranjan. Charles said.

I just don’t know what is happening! Initially I felt very much confident to cure her completely. She has shown some progress also. But suddenly everything has become topsy turvy. She is becoming more and more violent. Niranjan said.

I see opening the file at its first page and leaning back in the chair Rose said. Aged twenty four. How long back she has been married?

Three years. She was aged twenty one by the time she was married. Niranjan said.

She is indeed very much beautiful! looking at the photograph pasted on that page, Rose said.

Her husband also is equally handsome. Niranjan said. I just could not console him whenever he comes to the hospital to know about the progress in his wife.

Quite natural. Rose sighed heavily. She flipped through the pages one after one and read the file which took half an hour or so. Either Charles or Niranjan tried to interrupt her while she was going through that file so.

Suddenly she appeared upset and started behaving strangely putting the file on the table before her, leaning back in the chair and putting her hands in her lap, Rose said.

Her husband could not know the reason. She never has behaved in such a way before to him. He tried to make her normal and when it was not possible to him he took her here. Niranjan said.

She has been treated by our Vinod in the initial stage of her madness. But at that time itself Vinod thought that she would soon be changed into wild ward.

That also is right. Vinod opined like that Charles nodded his head and said.

But you felt optimistic about the case. You thought that you could cure her completely. Looking into the face of Niranjan, Rose said.

I dealt with more difficult cases than this before. Niranjan said with a wry expression in his face. Yes, I felt confident. I did not think it turns out like this.

Rose breathed deeply and hissed out heavily. First I want to talk with Vinod. After I have some discussion with Vinod, I do have a talk with the husband of that woman also.

You sure can do it like that. Shall we call that Vinod here? looking into her face, Charles asked her.

No, I go into his chamber and talk with him. Rose got off from the chair and said. Niranjan you are not excluded. We need your help also in full-fledged manner to solve this case.

You do have it in all the ways you need Niranjan smiled and said. So far what I have understood is we have a tough case to deal with.

You are absolutely right. Rose nodded her head and went out from that room.

I t’s a pleasure that you came into my room to talk about something whatever it may be. While looking at Rose, Vinod said with a smile.

Vinod even said it casually, he meant it whole-heartedly. Every time he saw her he was having a very pleasant feeling. After he married Malathi, he never have attracted to any woman this way before. Rose was not just beautiful, there was something sexual in her, the attraction from which no one could easily be freed. Her active and shiny eyes, her round and wrinkle free face, her perfect breast line, her throaty laugh! As she was beautiful like this even at her above fifty years age, Vinod just could not understand how she used to be in her youth!

It is about the patient Ranjani you have treated before she was transferred into our wild ward. Feeling uncomfortable under his scrutinizing gaze Rose said but she did not feel offensive. It was quite natural to her that men observed her so whenever she came into the proximity of them.

I think that she is under the treatment of that Niranjan.

I have been asked to help him in this regard. With uneasiness in her face, Rose said.

I expected this. I expected that Ranjani’s case would become difficult like this! And all difficult cases would come to you sooner or later. I came to know about this in the few days of my staying here. Vinod said.

Alright, alright Rose hastily said. She did not like being praised like that. I came to know that you thought that she would be transferred into the wild ward sooner or later. It has happened just like that. What made you think so?

Vinod did not say anything but leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes.

What is really troubling you to answer my question Vinod? observing his face keenly, Rose asked him.

Vinod opened his eyes, hissed out heavily, stooped forward and balanced himself on his arms on the table in between both of them. Something external is having an influence on her. I am not thinking that it is only her mind causing such an imbalance on her.

I just cannot understand what you are trying to say. Looking confusingly into his face, Rose said.

I myself cannot understand in fact. With a small voice Vinod said. I cannot explain it to you.

What has gone in between you both? What did she tell you? You would have talked with her on more than one occasion. Leaning back in the chair and knitting her brows together, Rose asked him.

She said that she was hearing voices. She said something was trying to enter into her forcibly and she did not know how to stop that.

We all know very well that it is a sign of developing a split personality! It was just a split personality was developing in her at that time. Hissing out heavily Rose said.

She said that she was hearing voices also at that time. As if he did not hear what Rose has said, Vinod said.

In some patients suffering from psychological disorders auditory hallucinations are quite common. They imagine as if they are hearing voices. What’s then? with an irritating expression on her face, Rose said.

Vinod got off from the chair and said At that time I also have heard those voices Rose. That is why I can say there is something external behind her madness.

What the hell you are talking? Rose involuntarily got off from the chair. You are a professional, qualified and reputed psychologist! Have you forgotten about that?

I am sorry. I know that I cannot convince you. Vinod hung his head.

Its alright Vinod. I am also sorry. Rose said and once again slumped herself in the chair. You also please sit Vinod. I still want to talk some more with you.

Okay Rose. Vinod once again put himself in his chair. She is a married woman aged twenty four years. Her husband Mukund is a bank manager. Their marriage was an arranged marriage. She told me so.

It is in her file also. Rose’s usual charming smile embarked onto her lips again. How long back her marriage was performed?

Three years back. At her young age. She was only twenty one years aged then.

How much aged that boy is?

Twenty seven years. You would have read it also in her file. Vinod said. He is as much handsome as she is. They both just appeared as made for each other.

The problem started after six months or so back. On one day her husband suddenly found her looking up into the sky. He tried to talk with her but could not. He made her look into his face but there was no recognition at all. After half an hour or so on that day she became normal. But she has subjected to such bouts many a time after that day. Ultimately his family doctor recommended our mental care and he took her here. I read this also in her file.

You are right. You remembered it nice. Vinod smiled.

It has also been written in her file that she was hearing voices and seeing some odd forms. In my opinion they are just her auditory and visionary hallucinations. Rose leaned back in the chair and said.

I also opined just like that. Vinod hissed out heavily.

But your opinion changed when you have heard the voices along with her. With a sarcastic expression on her face, Rose said.

Vinod nodded his head helplessly but did not say anything.

Alright what you and she have heard anyhow?

She said that someone was approaching her on a horse and she was hearing the neighing of that horse and the yelling of the person on the horse ‘I come into you....I come into you’. Then I also heard the sounds as clearly as she heard.

So it is not just voices. You both have heard the sound of a horse also. Still keeping that sarcastic expression in her face, Rose said.

Yes, you are right. Without bothering with her expression, Vinod said.

Anyone else with you both while you were talking with her?

Only we both were present with each other. I never allow any other person while I am talking with my patients. Vinod said.

For a moment forget about that you also have heard those sounds. If you don’t have such an experience what would be your opinion of her mental disorder? Rose adjusted herself in the chair for more comfort.

I remembered Neeraja’s mother. Vinod said. She was slowly losing control on herself just like that Madhuri. I know how violent she became later on.

My god! I am a failure when it comes to that Madhuri with a small voice Rose said. I pray god it would not happen like that in this woman’s case also.

(This ‘Madhuri’s matter is available in the novel ‘Just Relax!’

You better see that woman and come to an opinion. Vinod said.

I do that Rose got off from the chair she sat. And thank you very much for your patiently answering my questions.

It always a pleasure to me talking with you Vinod could not remain without observing the curves and the beautiful cleavage under her neck and felt a stirring in himself. He once again hissed out heavily and leaned back in the chair when she went out of that room.

D octor, be very careful with her. She is not behaving nicely at all. when Rose entered into the room of Ranjani, the nurse there said.

Alright. I shall be in my care. Going near to the bed on which Ranjani was sleeping Rose said. Is she is behaving all the time violent?

No of course. But when she turns violent it is becoming very much difficult to control her. The nurse said. She has been given a sedative one hour before. She may come to her senses at any time.

Okay Rose dragged a chair near to her bed and slumped herself in it. Ranjani was appearing beautiful in such a condition also. Twenty four years aged meant still quite young! What really caused this madness in her? Then she automatically remembered what Vinod has said.

She just could not understand what was happening to Vinod. She knew he was quite upset about the death of his wife even after five years or so also. But she did not know that he was that much obsessed with that feeling to hallucinate like that. He heard the sounds that Ranjani heard and the voice she heard! How she has to understand this?

(Vinod’s story is available in the books ‘A Mansion of Illusions’ and ‘House of Delusions)

Doctor she is waking up again. Seeing the movement in the body of Ranjani, the nurse said with fear in her voice.

I am here and don’t worry unnecessarily Rose also has seen the movement in Ranjani and got off from the chair. Anyhow be prepared with a sedative. Then she went near to the bed of her.

Who are you and why did you come near to me? Ranjani sat up on the bed and looked into the face of Rose.

Your friend and well wisher of course. Rose sat on the side of the bed and said. How you are feeling now?

Not feeling good suddenly Ranjani’s forehead filled with frowns. Where is my husband? Why did he leave me here?

He left you here for your own good. He has lots of love and affection on you. Observing Ranjani keenly, Rose said.

I know that he loves me a lot. But as I have become like this, he left me here. Ranjani covered her face with her hands and started weeping slowly.

Relax! Relax yourself! Rose went near to Ranjani and put her right hand on her right shoulder. There is no wrong with you at all. You are just suffering from a minor psychological disorder and it can be very easily cured.

Mine is not a minor psychological disorder. Ranjani got off from the bed and said. He is in me now. That horseman is in me now.

What horse man? Why he should be in you? Rose also got off from the bed and asked Ranjani with frowns.

That horseman. He came on a flying horse. He always tried to enter into me and I could not withstand him for long. At last he entered into me. Once again Ranjani covered her face with her hands.

Then Rose looked into the face of the nurse and asked her with a slow voice. Are you ready with the sedative? We may need it anytime.

Yes doctor. The nurse there shown her the injunction.

Don’t imagine things. There is no wrong with you. There is no horseman in you. Rose once again went near to Ranjani and once again put her right hand on her right shoulder which she took off seconds back.

Who are you to say that there is no horseman in me? suddenly Ranjani removed her hands from her face and threw Rose back forcibly with her both hands. It was just like Rose expected it that she held her ground and did not fell back.

The nurse there tried to approach Ranjani fast and give her the injunction but Rose cautioned her with her eyes and said Not yet. Then with a fearful expression and confusion in her face, that nurse went back.

Then is it is the horseman talking with me now? Rose asked.

You are very clever. You guessed it right Ranjani laughed loudly. I am the horseman talking in her. Did not she tell you my name? My name is Saikma.

Saikma! I never heard this name before with a surprising expression in her face Rose said.

You may not. But I am very powerful! Very soon I let all you people know how much powerful I am. Once again Ranjani laughed loudly. All you people are thinking you did very great thing till now going against that great god. All you do realize how big fools you are. You are all going to receive the punishment for what you have done.

We went against a great god! Who is he? I just cannot understand anything. The surprising expression in Rose’s face was still continuing like that.

Don’t act. I hate acting and lying. Once you start receiving the punishment you can understand what you did. Ranjani angrily said.

If we are doomed to suffer, we suffer. Relax yourself Rose once again went near to Ranjani and put her right hand around her shoulders.

Surprisingly this time Ranjani did not say anything but looked into the face of Rose with lot of sorrow and confusion.

Don’t excite yourself. Just relax! I am here to help you. Trying to lead her towards the bed Ranjani said.

What I did till now? I just cannot remember anything. Without moving an inch from where she stood, Ranjani asked Rose looking into her face once again.

You did not behave any unusual. Don’t think about that, just come and lay your back. Still trying to make her move from there, Rose said.

That horseman talked with you, did not he? He is in me now. Moving slowly towards the bed Ranjani said.

There is no horseman in you. Don’t imagine yourself so. Once she reached the bed making her lying on it, Rose said. Without any retaliation, Ranjani just obeyed her. Rose took her right hand into her hands and squeezed it gently and said looking into her face. Just be relaxed! There would be no problem to you.

Will you please stay with me for sometime? I am feeling quite good along with you. Looking pleadingly into her face Ranjani said.

Why not? Sure. Rose said and slumped on the side of the bed. She released her hand and put it on the hip of her. I stay here. You just sleep with the hope and confidence that here are so many people to help you.

Ranjani did not say anything but closed her eyes. Just in seconds she slipped herself into sleeping.

Wonderful doctor! It seems that this woman started liking you. When Rose got off from the bed after confirming herself that Ranjani was in deep sleep, the nurse said. If all psychiatrists are like you, no sedatives are necessary.

Don’t exaggerate. Rose laughed and came out of that room.

I t is not something new to us to treat. We in our homes itself suffered with this problem. Rose said.

At that time in Charles chamber Niranjan and Vinod also were present. Charles was in his usual chair.

I am guessing that you do say this to us. Charles sighed heavily and said. And we all know it is not something easy to treat.

A split personality is not something easy to treat. Niranajan said. But so far we have come to a firm conclusion that she is suffering from split personality.

What she talked with you while you were treating her? Rose looked into the face of Niranjan and asked him. Did she say anything at all?

No, she just behaved violent all the time. She did not become calm at all until a sedative has given to her. In fact I have to keep her in sleeping all the time to make her calm. Hissing out heavily Niranjan said.

She turned violent like that while she was under me Vinod said. She has been changed into that wild ward only after she became violent like that.

But I came to know that you have developed a wonderful rapport with her. The nurse there said that she talked with you. With an admiring expression in his face Niranjan said.

Not just her, the split personality which is in her also talked with me. Rose smiled and explained to them what had gone in between her and that Ranjani. She is saying that a horseman was entered into her. While I was talking with her, suddenly that split personality in her was exposed. It said its name is Saikma.

Really fantastic! You came this far with her? That is why you have been called as an efficient psychiatrist. The admiring expression was just so in Niranjan.

It just happened like that. I did nothing. Don’t praise me unnecessarily. Rose said with an uneasy expression in her face.

Alright, alright. Anyhow I have come to know one thing for sure. All the patients here do like you instantly. Niranjan said again.

That much is true Vinod said and nodded his head.

We are here to discuss about a patient’s case and how to cure her. Better we concentrate on that. Rose little angrily said.

Who else is more apt to decide about it than you Rose? Tell us what course of treatment is best for her. Looking into her face, Charles said to her.

First we have to know what was the reason for the germination of split personality in her. I have to be in session with her three or four times. I need to talk with her husband, her family members and whoever quite intimate with her. Rose said.

Her husband Mukund is coming to our hospital day after tomorrow. Certainly his parents and her parents also do come with him. They are all very much anxious about this woman. Charles said.

Alright. Then I do talk with him and them also. Her charming smile started playing its role on her lips once again. If you people excuse me, I want to go home. My sister Liza and her family would be waiting at home for me. She said that she come to my home with her husband and only daughter after a long time.

Please go and convey my regards to her and her family members also. Charles smiled and said. I know your sister.

While Rose got off from the chair and coming out of that chamber Niranjan and Vinod also said the same thing to her. Rose’s mind was full of her sister and her family’s memories while she was driving towards her home. When she parked the car and going into her home, quite involuntarily Rose remembered what Ranjani said to her.

All you people are thinking you did very great thing till now by going against that great god. All you do realize how big fools you are. You are all going to receive the punishment for what you have done.

Why she said it like that? How could she know that they went against Muhura, the evil entity?

O h, Rose. You just cannot know how much happy I am feeling now. As soon as Liza saw Rose, she embraced her and kissed on her right cheek. It seems that you became too busy in your profession. You did not even phone to me recently.

It is just like that. Rose too put her both hands around her sister’s shoulders and said. Anyhow why worry about the past? We both met and we can share a lot. With her charming smile in its usual place, Rose said.

You are absolutely right. You fresh up yourself and come. Swaroop and I do wait for you in our room. Leaving Rose and relieving from her grip gently, Liza said.

What about Monisa? Where she is now? remembering Liza’s daughter, Rose asked her.

She is with Emily. They both have been very good friends and quite intimate with each other from their childhood. Liza said.

Alright, alright. I shall be with you both just in half an hour. Going away from there fast Rose said.

H ow you both are feeling here? It is really after a very long time that you came here. settling herself in the chair in their room, Rose said.

Just wonderful! It is really very much enjoyable to me here. with a smile on his lips Swaroop said. After our hectic lives in legal profession, we just want a change like this.

Liza and Swaroop sat side by side on the bed. It was always quite surprising thing to Rose to think that her sister nearly twenty years older to her husband Swaroop. She did not feel confident that her sister and Swaroop could lead happy married life. But they both were not only always have been happy but Swaroop studied law also at the advice of Liza and they both were doing combined and successful practice now. Rose never came to know whether they both ever either disagreed or disputed for anything. It was really very much amazing that a couple could live like that.

(All about Swaroop and Liza is in the book ‘Rain Flower’)

What you are thinking Rose? Liza asked Rose suddenly as she remained silent.

I am really feeling proud seeing you both like this. I just cannot remain without saying this to you. With a smile on her lips Rose said. How you both can live without any disputes or disagreements? It is really very much amazing to me.

Liza and Swaroop looked into each other’s faces with smiles. Why it is so Rose? You and Williams have been living without any differences between you both. John and Jasmine are also just like that. Liza said pulling a serious expression into her face.

I must tell you the truth sighing heavily Rose said. Considering the age gape difference between you both, I did not think that you both could live happily in this way. But I am feeling very happy for it.

You are not wrong Rose. I myself could not feel confident that we can lead our life like this. I thought my responsibility was over once I have diverted him from his suicidal tendency. But... Liza tried to say something more.

You not just did divert me from my suicidal tendency. You have shown me what life and love is. I just could not remain without loving you and making you my life partner. Once there is abundance love in the hearts, living like this is not at all a difficult thing even there is huge age gape or something like that in the couple. Swaroop said.

You are absolutely right Rose said nodding her head. Sis, you really did that. I still can remember the day I have talked with Swaroop. I still can remember the excitement and anxiousness in him to live along with you. Unless you did that much help to him, he would not have felt like that.

Oh, you both are just exaggerating the issue. With a smile on her lips Liza said.

We are not exaggerating. We are just telling what is a fact. Swaroop got off from the bed and standing opposite to Liza said.

Swaroop, I know your heart. I know what you are thinking and feeling about me. Is it is necessary to express yourself now? knitting her brows together, Liza asked him.

Not necessary. But it sure gives a sort of satisfaction to me to express myself so especially before a third party. Please let me go on. With a pleading expression in his face, Swaroop said.

Sis, let him pour his heart. I can understand his feelings. It sure does give a fulfillment and contentment to him. Rose said.

Then just go on my dear hubby! going back to the wall there and leaning on it, Liza said still keeping that small smile on her lips.

It was a moment that I wanted to commit suicide thinking I am an impotent. There were no boundaries to my distress when my ex-wife made one of his boyfriends to do that to her before my eyes and told me I never could do it like that to her. Swaroop paused a moment.

I...I just cannot understand what you are saying! with a horrifying expression on her face, Rose said.

Yes, it has happened just like that then and he told me. I too could not believe that there were such women on earth who stoop that lower also to humiliate their husbands. You simply can imagine what was his psychological condition at that time. Liza said.

I was convinced that I was an impotent. I just could not bear the idea that I was an impotent. I wanted to commit suicide on the night of that day. But Liza already has become a friend to me and I wanted to talk with her for the last time. He paused for a moment before saying again. I met her on that day. We talked....... But he was interrupted by Liza.

I understood what was happening to him. At first I thought to send him to you but there was no time. He was in such a psychological condition to commit suicide at any moment. I asked him to come in the night of that day if he has any trust on me. He obeyed........ she tried to say something more but this time, Swaroop interrupted Liza.

The miracle of my life happened then. Liza made me understood what a big fool I was in thinking I was an impotent. I forsake the idea of suicide completely and have got full interest in life again. But I want to live my life with Liza and she too agreed to it. So it has happened like this. Swaroop said and smiled. He once again came near to the bed and sat on it.

But after lots and lots of persuasion, is it is not? Rose knitted her brows together and asked. My sister did not easily agree to marry you.

How I do agree easily to that as the age gap between us both was that much? Liza said with gathered frowns on her forehead. Still sometimes I do feel Swaroop could have a better choice than me.

Do you please shut your mouth? I never could have a better choice than you. I am always quite lucky in having a person like you as my life partner. Putting his both hands around Liza and looking into her face Swaroop said.

I really wonder if there is any couple on the earth like you both! with amazement in her eyes Rose said. Swaroop, do you really know what my sister’s ideology is? How she thinks and what she did? Rose really did not intend to say this but quite involuntarily said.

We both are opened books to each other Rose. We know everything of each other. I know that she has given herself to an old man for the help he did to your family as she did not want to be indebted to him. She excused three people who gang raped her. Swaroop said.

My god! I myself cannot understand her in full even I am her own sister! It is really amazing that you understood her that much and agreed with her ideology. With amazement in her face Rose said.

It is not just because that I loved her Rose but it is because that there is meaning in what she has done and we can find it if we look at it with right perspective. She just did not want to be indebted to that old man who helped your family and she understood the need of sex to him at that time. So she paid his debt in full along with interest as well in such a way. He paused few seconds and sighed heavily. Then the gang rape! As a woman you may not understand but as a man I can. Sometimes the driving force of sex would be like that. Those three men were starving for sex for a long time by that time. They suddenly found Liza all naked and they just forgot everything else. He stopped.

There was heavy silence there and the three of them did not say anything for few seconds. Still I cannot support rapes. However strong the driving force of sex may be, however much starving the men for sex may be, rape is a most heinous thing on the earth and all the rapists should be punished in the equal measure. Rose said angrily.

You are right. But.... Liza got off from the bed and said it was not because of any ideology or I understood the differences in rapes. Those three were with me for a long time and they never behaved in a nasty way before. They helped me in many a way. Suddenly the situation has arisen like that, quite unfortunately they found me completely naked and tempted forcibly to do that. So I thought I should have excused them for that time. So I excused them. I might have done a mistake I don’t know. I might have given a message to the world that rapes under specific circumstances are pardonable, I cannot say.

Oh, sis.... Rose also got off from the chair put her right hand around Liza’s shoulders and kissed on her right cheek. I am just not matured enough that much to understand you.

But what you have said also is true Rose. All rapes must be considered in the same way and all rapists deserve the same punishment. I just thought that was appropriate at that moment as far I was and the other three were concerned depending upon the situation. No man should take advantage of a woman in however situation she may be available and whatever condition he may be then. Liza said firmly.

Alright, alright, sis. Don’t worry about it unnecessarily. It seems that I am the reason for making you think about that quite unsavourable episode in your life. Making her sister sit on the bed again and slumping herself in the chair there once more, Rose said.

It is never so, it is never so dear. In fact it is a struggle in me sometimes. Rape is such a heinous crime and it is such a highest insult to the woman damaging her spirit. Sometimes I wonder that I did a mistake by excusing them three so. Liza said.

Considering that situation in a particular way you did not. Swaroop said. If I were one of those three, I too would have behaved in the same way. Those three were so terribly starved for sex and you have so suddenly came before them like that! There come situations that even very good people also lose all their control and behave like animals.

May be you are right with a small voice and with a smile on her lips, Liza said.

Moreover those three never have behaved nastily again with you. They extended their help in the usual way after that incident also. Understanding the other people in a right way is a great virtue and you have it profoundly.

Alright, alright, Swaroop. Just put aside what I did. What Rose has said is true. Under whatever circumstances, rapes are not excusable. That is decided and no more discussion is necessary on it. Liza said.

(The whole story about Liza is in the book ‘Rain Flower’)

I am feeling peace after hearing you like this. Rose smiled and said. And one news to you both.

What is it? looking curiously into her face, Liza asked her.

John, Jasmine and their only son Rohan also are coming here. As these are summer holidays for Rohan, they want to spend some time along with us.

Then it is indeed great news! Liza laughed and said. John and Jasmine are really very nice couple. It would be a lot enjoyable with both of them.

After that those three discussed some more time among themselves before Rose left that room.

Y our room is indeed beautiful! looking around interestingly Liza’s daughter Monisa said. You have good taste! You arranged the beautiful things you procured in the best way.

Don’t praise me unnecessarily. It is not all my work. Procuring those dolls etcetera and arranging them in a beautiful way like this are my mom’s doing. I am just using the room arranged in this way. Emily, Rose’s daughter said.

At that time Monisa and Emily sat side by side on the bed in Emily’s room.

You just don’t like taking credit without earning it. Monisa said.

And you cannot remain without praising me. Putting her right hand around Monisa’s shoulders and hugging her strongly Emily said. Anyhow tell me why your parents are making you study engineering despite their both being lawyers. Relieving her from her hug Emily asked.

Studying chemical engineering is my choice not theirs. They asked me to study law but I simply did not get any interest in studying it. My parents never force me for anything and it has turned out like this. Monisa said.

My studying medicine is my parents’ choice in fact. They asked me to study medicine and I obeyed it. So I am now in the final year of it. Emily said.

Are not you interested in studying medicine? knitting her brows together and looking into her face, Monisa asked.

If I am not interested, no one can make me do anything. I am also quite interested in medicine and my interest and my parents’ interest were just coincided. So I am now studying medicine. With a smile on her lips Emily said.

You are brave and courageous so you are studying medicine. Monisa said. Don’t think I am praising you. I am just telling you what I am feeling. Looking at the naked bodies and cutting them across, one must have to have stomach.

You are absolutely right. Emily said. In the beginning and sometimes now also I do feel creepy in doing those things. But when I am thinking I am doing all that only to learn save lives, I do stop feeling odd. She paused for few seconds and said again. Do you know one thing? There is one other person also who has stomach to do all this.

Who is he? with a curious expression in her face Monisa asked her

Rohan. The son of my aunt. Really very smart and handsome! With an admiring expression in her face Emily said.

I think I have seen him a very long time back. Transferring herself into the chair opposite to the bed, Monisa said. Are you both studying medicine in the same college?

In the same college and the same year but not the same branch. I am going to be a gyneacologist and he is studying general medicine. Emily said In fact Rohan took the decision to study medicine after knowing I want to study it.

Very nice. Really appreciable! Studying medicine means preparing ourselves in a high measure to do service to the people. With an appreciative expression in her face, Monisa said.

Rohan is coming to this home just in two days. Now are holidays to our college for one month. I asked him to come with me but he wanted to go to his parents first and come along with them to here.

I know them. When they saw me last time, they liked me a lot. Monisa said.

Just because you are so cute and likable by one and all. Emily said.

Now you started it. Monisa laughed and said.

They talked like that in between themselves for half an hour so.

I t seems that you spent a considerable time with your sister and her husband. When Rose came beside him on the bed, Williams said.

Yes, Will. It is indeed a great relief to me talking with them after a very tiring day. Rose laughed mellifluously and said. That couple is indeed very much inspiring! Anyone does feel happy talking with them.

Yes, I also felt in the same way while I was talking with them. Nodding his head Williams said.

What very much surprising to me is that Swaroop is completely not caring the age gap between them both. He is more than fifteen years younger to my sister! But he never bothered about it! with an amazing expression in her face, Rose said.

Why age should be such a noticeable factor between the couple once there is perfect understanding and love between them? You know what a role your sister has played in his life. She has given him life in fact. What is the surprise that he did not bother about the age gap between them?

At one time it might be Williams. But now my sister is aged more than sixty years and he is fifty or so. Are you thinking that he can enjoy it with her in the same way now also? with an uneasy expression in her face, Rose said.

Now you are fifty plus and I cannot see any difference in the pleasure I am having from you. If it is possible to give pleasure in the same way at fifty plus it may be possible to give pleasure like that at sixty plus also. Moreover.... He paused for a moment and said. Both you sisters are beautiful with lean bodies, gold colour skins and round beautiful faces.

Oh, stop it. I don’t want to hear it in this way at all. looking angrily into his face, Rose said.

I am just trying to clarify your doubt and you don’t like it. with a frown in his face Williams said.

Alright, alright, you cleared my doubt, forget about it. Rose hastily said, paused few seconds and said again. Your sister, her husband along with their son are due to come to this home just day after tomorrow, do you remember it?

Of course I remember. One month or so of holidays to Rohan also I think. We all do have good time pass here. Williams said.

Especially to our daughter! Not just cousins that Rohan and our daughter are good friends. Monisa also can enjoy his company a lot. Rose said.

That is true. But your work is going to become a lot. You have to tire yourself so in BAMC and work in the home also. Williams said.

It is not at all like that Rose turned towards Williams and put her right hand around his neck. All our relatives are very nice people and I always can enjoy their company. I just feel pleasure working for them. Anyhow there is a servant maid also to help me for it, don’t worry about it at all. looking into his eyes Rose said.

Williams put his right hand on her hip and dragged her quite near to him. He kissed her quite strongly while hugging her with both his hands.

Day by day you are becoming like a brute. Rose groaned with little pain and said when she could release herself from him.

You are right and you know the reason for it also. Deftly making her naked Williams said. Beauty and sexuality in a woman make any man a brute.

At my fifty two years also I am appearing to you in the same way making him also naked Rose said.

I am telling you the truth. The advanced age made your glamour even more rather than diminishing it. kissing on her right cheek perfunctorily Williams said.

Don’t exaggerate. I know that there is grey hair to me. My skin wrinkled. And.... Rose tried to say something more.

Oh, stop it.Williams said and hugged her once again quite strongly. By then both of them have made the other completely naked. It took the same amount of time to them to complete it and the pleasure they enjoyed in each other’s hands also in the same measure.

I thought my wife would have been cured by now. Our doctor said yours is a very reputed mental care and it has experienced and efficient psychiatrists here. Mukund, husband of Ranjani, said.

I can understand your anguish Mr.Mukund. Just like in physical diseases there are differences in psychological disorders also. All psychological disorders cannot be cured easily. Forcing her charming smile onto her lips Rose said.

At that time Rose was with Ranjani’s husband Munkund, her mother Savitri and parents in law Anand and Malathi.

So you diagnosed so far that my daughter is suffering from a serious psychological disorder. Savitri said. She was also as much anxious as Mukund and her feeling could be seen quite clearly in her face. But Anand and Malathi were composed and balanced. They were not showing their inner anxiousness on their faces.

Rose sighed heavily and leaned back in the chair. Ranjani has developed a split-personality in her. She said.

A split personality! I know about it. I read about it in books and saw in some movies also. Mukund said immediately.

Then you sure do have a good idea on it. involuntarily once again a small smile climbed onto the lips of Rose. But those split personalities in books and movies have been created for entertainment purpose. Real split personalities are different from them.

Doctor Anand said. At first our Ranjani has been entrusted to some psychologist Vinod. He said so confidently that he sure could cure our daughter in law. It has not happened like that. Ranjani has been shifted into a mad ward and was entrusted to a psychiatrist, I cannot remember his name. He also assured us that it would not take much time to cure Ranjani. Now we cannot see him and you are talking with us saying yourself a psychiatrist in this hospital. Just tell us what the reason for our Ranjani’s suffering, under whose care our Ranjani is and how long it takes to cure her completely?

Just like in physical diseases sometimes it becomes difficult to know the root cause of psychological disorders also. Looking into his face Rose said. When Ranjani has been taken to our hospital, she was in her control. We thought a psychologist could cure her and that Vinod is a reputed and experienced psychologist and he also felt like that. But then Ranjani turned absolutely wild and we have to shift her into the wild ward and put her under the care of psychiatrist Niranjan. It is not unusual that mild patients suddenly turned wild and shifting them into the wild ward. Dr.Niranjan is very efficient and in fact he also thought that the problem would be solved with some treatment. But it has been turned out a little complicated.

Is split personality a complicated thing to cure? the anxiousness in Anand’s face was intensified even more.

I must say the truth. Split personality is not a thing to be cured easily. Sighed heavily, paused a second and said again. But we have cured split personalities before. I am confident that we can cure your daughter in law hundred percent. Just trust me.

It is Dr.Niranjan to whom my wife’s case has been entrusted. How you came into this? Mukund asked her.

Dr.Niranjan is still your wife’s doctor. But I am more experienced in curing split personalities and multiple personalities. So I am asked to look after your wife’s matter. Once again pulling a small smile onto her lips, Rose said.

I am telling you the truth doctor. Looking at you I am getting confidence. I am feeling that our daughter in law would be hundred percent cured in your hands. Tell me doctor, what we have to do now? Malathi asked her.

Thank you very much for your feeling like that on me. Rose laughed mellifluously on hearing that. I request all of you just feel that confidence. Nothing more you need to do. I shall make your Ranjani in all respects her usual self again but it takes sometime.

Thank you very much doctor. That is all what we want. Savitri said.

First of all I want to talk with Mukund. Then, if I think necessary, I do talk with all those who are intimate with her. It needs to be known the cause for the genesis of split personality in her. Rose said.

I am ready to talk with you at any length of time doctor, not just that I am ready to do anything also for her. Mukund said.

I have to have that talking with you personally Mukund. Rose said.

Alright, I have no objection to that either. Mukund said.

Then Rose looked into the faces of the people there. Except Mukund, you all take rest in our mental care guest rooms. Once I finished talking with Mukund, I shall decide whether to talk with anyone else of you or not.

Alright doctor. Savitri nodded her head.

    Then leaving Mukund
