About this ebook

When twenty two years or so aged Evalla felt too much for Viswanadh who was not only a widower, has a twenty six years or so aged daughter but also aged more than double to her; and wanted to live with him, she did not know the reason why. She was so happy a girl after her marriage with Viswanadh except with the only one problem 'Okatho' in her. For a long time, she was also just like Dr.Rose, of the opinion that it was just her 'split personality'. But when she remembered her past, when she remembered the promise she made to her sister Okatho while she was dying, she understood it was not the split personality in her but her natural sister Okatho herself. Her remembering her past cleared all of her doubts which included why she has attracted that much to Viswanadh and wanted to live along with him. How Dr.Rose, a psychiatrist in her own way and Sadan, a para-psychologist in his way tried to solve the problem of Evalla is the story of the book 'Split-Personality', a maga psychological and paranormal thriller with 3,30,000 words.

    About me

Iam an Indian English writer write mostly fiction books and so far I have written thirty books out of which twenty eight books are romantic, psychological thrillers and the remaining two are non-fiction books, Body, Mind and You and English Grammar Simplifier. The word count of my books range from 15,000 to 3,50,000 and the total word count of all my books is more than 30,00,000 (Thirty Lakhs Words). I have a weakness, I don’t get the feeling that I wrote the book if someone else edits the same, so I am my own editor to all my books. As such there is a pretty chance that you may come across grammatical, verbal mistakes, incongruities and inconsistencies while going through my books, then please pardon me and go ahead. I am always open as much as possible when it comes to sexual narrations in my books as I think sex is very main and natural characteristic not just in human beings but in all other creatures also. So you can find sexual narrations in my books graphical, absolute and complete. My heart-felt thanks to all those who have been purchasing my books all along, encouraging me and supporting me.

    Few Words from the Author

    Dear reader,

Some time back, I wrote a small book with fifty five thousand words, a romantic psychological thriller ‘Rain Flower’ in which I have created the character psychiatrist Dr.Rose, Black Ant Mental Care (BAMC) along with some other characters. In Rain Flower, Dr.Rose was a young, beautiful and charming woman and I maintained the character of Dr.Rose substantially in my other psychological thrillers Enna, Amaswitha, Sasikala and rustle In The leaves. In rustle In The leaves, which is my another mega psychological thriller with a word count of 3,50,000 words, Dr.Rose not only became a fifty years aged woman but got her daughter Emily married and became grandmother also as her daughter gave birth to a son. I just don’t want to write another thriller either with Dr.Rose or the other characters in ‘Rain Flower’.

But you reader, did not agree with my wish at all! After enjoying my thrillers with Dr.Rose, Dr.Charles and BAMC, you so much wanted another thriller with them. In fact, Dr.Rose has become a darling and impressive character not only to me but to you also. Even I don’t want, as you are the support to me from the beginning to end, decided to write another thriller with my darling child Dr.Rose, BAMC and the rest. But if it is a continuation to my thriller, rustle In The leaves, I cannot create much romantic feeling with a fifty years aged Dr.Rose even though she was charming and beautiful always. So this thriller ‘Split Personality’ is the continuation of my psychological thriller ‘Rain Flower’ in which Dr.Rose was young, beautiful and charming woman. Even the main story of this thriller is Evalla’s split-personality, it is not confined to it. There are other people, their feelings, emotions and stories also. One thing reader! You need not read either ‘Rain Flower’ or other books with Dr.Rose to enjoy this book. Even this book has link with my thriller ‘Rain Flower’, it can be enjoyed itself without reading either ‘Rain Flower’ or any other book of Dr.Rose.

As the reader of my books so far, you very well know that I don’t leave anything to your imagination when it comes to sex. In this book also, whenever it comes to sex, it was full-fledged, complete, absolute and without giving an opportunity to you for imagination.

I don’t like my books being edited by any other person just because it does not give me the idea that I am the sole writer of the same. Due to that; sure there would be some grammatical mistakes, incongruities and some times littie inconsistencies in my books and the same sure would be so in this book also. If you come across them, dear reader, please pardon me and go ahead with the story.

Another important thing reader I want to share with you. I wrote so far twenty four books ranging from 15,000 words to 3,50,000 words. With this thriller the total word count of all my books became more than 28,00,000 (twenty eight lakhs).

I put myself into this enterprise, wrote this maga psychological and paranormal thriller with such large word count only to entertain you just because you have been such a great support to me always. What in return I want from you? Just the same support from now onwards also.

The mega question here! Do I write another psychological thriller with the character Dr.Rose? Decide yourself reader, if you want I sure would.

    With warm regards,

    Kotra Siva Rama Krishna,

    Author

    Prologue

They both were in that place, which was a room in that orphanage Alambana, along with a twelve years old girl and talking for more than one and half hour. It indeed took that much of time to Charakka Champarpole to explain everything in detail to the other person there who was mostly a friend to him. The other person Suhasan, who was the owner of that orphanage listened intently while observing his friend who was with a cleanly shaving head. He did not know the reason why his friend preferred to have his head cleanly shaved like that all the time so.

I think that you can do this help to me. Once finished saying with little interruptions from his friend whenever he has got doubts and needed explanation in between, Charakka said.

Certainly I can and you need not doubt in me. In fact that is what I have been doing here for a long time. Giving shelter to the unfortunate children like her. Looking at the twelve years aged girl who was also with them then, Suhasan, the proprietor of that orphanage, said. I have dedicated myself only to that task all these days. You also know about it.

I know about it for sure. Even you can enjoy your life with the richness you have, you never did so. You dedicated your life to the service of the children and you did not even prefer to marry. Charakka paused for a moment before saying again. But you do know the difference of this girl with others. She has to be treated in a separate way.

I can understand the psychological condition of a girl whose parents were brutally murdered and the sister was gang-raped to death. She does get special care and I engage a skilled psychiatrist also for her. You don’t worry. When he remembered what Charakka said about the ghastly things happened on her parents and sister Suhasan’s heart was burning with rage. Those bastards must not be left like that. They must receive the severe punishment for what they did.

That shall be looked into and you need not worry about it. Charakka sighed heavily before saying again. And you need not worry about her psychological condition also. I have hypnotised and programmed her not to remember her past. At present she cannot remember even her name.

You already said that to me and I forgot. Suhasan said. But I just cannot agree with the things that Amsara and the rest. And this girl’s making promise to her sister before her death also need not be taken seriously. Once I don’t believe in any paranormal and in the existence of a snakehead god Amsara, I need not say that I don’t believe that her sister Okatho can get the grace of that Amsara by staying in her sister’s body and make her offer herself to Amsara while she is pregnant. This is all absolute foolishness.

You need not believe anything at all. It has nothing to do with your believing or non-believing it. You just do in the way I requested you if you really do believe I am your good friend. Once again there came pleading expression into the face of Charakka.

You not plead with me like this. Everything will be as you wish it to be. Suhasan took Charakka’s right hand into his both hands and squeezed it gently and said again after leaving it. This girl does stay here without any problem with my special care and protection.

She rather would lead by Amsara, that god of power! Don’t try to stop her from whatever she wants to do. That means just let her behave in the way she wants. She remembers things bit by bit and by the appropriate time she remembers everything. You just remember one thing here! She is not single, her sister Okatho also is in her body now. She has given the promise to her sister that she can stay in her body until she offers herself to Amsar while she is pregnant. She finds Michivako, who was her great great grandfather and born somewhere now also and marry him just because it is destined so by Amsara. It is destined so by Amsara just because they were man and wife in every life of them and she was Tarima, that Michivako’s mistress and half sister. That Trima and Mishivako were the great devotees of Amsara so Amsara takes special care of them.

That Michivako made his half-sister as his mistress! there was a shocking and disgusting expression in the face of Suhasan.

There are so many things like that in the lives of this girl, her parents and posterity. You may better don’t know all about it.

But I just cannot believe any of that! Suhasan could not get rid of the shock he just received by hearing what Charakka said.

I do believe everything that I said to you. It happens in the way I explained. With the firmness in his voice Charakka said.

Alright, alright Suhasan nodded his head trying to digest whatever he heard till then. Everything will be as you asked. You just feel relaxed. But........ he knitted his brows together. ..........I ask you again. Stay here with us. It will be more advantageous now than before also as your girl is going to stay here.

I cannot leave my village Obbera like that. My connection and link with that village is even more now than at any time before. Charakka sighed heavily.

There was painful silence there until Suhasan broke it by saying looking into the face of the girl there. Girl do you want to stay here along with me and other children?

I cannot say. I don’t remember anything at all. There was full confusion in the face of that girl.

You cannot remember your name also. Suhasan knitted his brows together.

I cannot remember anything.  There was the same confusion in her face.

Her name is Evalla. I want her to be called with the same name here also. Something related to her past should be with her I think. Charakka said.

I do have objection to that. Suhasan said. Here also her name is Evalla and I call her as Eva.

No, problem at all. Charakka smiled. That was the way we all used to call and address her. Suddenly Charakka’s face became serious. And you should remember the other important thing also. Whatever I have told you about this girl and her history must not be known to anyone else including herself. Until she remembers everything bit by bit herself, she too should not be known about it. Understood?

Yes, I understood. You made this point quite clear to me while detailing everything to me and I understood it then itself and it also shall be just as you asked. The firmness in Suhasan’s voice and the genuine expression in his face indeed satisfied Charakka.

Now I go. When I can come here again I cannot say. The girl looked into the face of Charakka with the same confusion when Charakka hugged her and kissed on her forehead.

Suhasan hugged Charakka and said looking into his face. You can go away from here with a light heart my friend! Every need of Evalla will be taken here with utmost care and everything will be just as you wish it to be.

Charakka kissed on the right cheek of Suhasan and said You need not tell me about it. I know that it would be just so. Then he relieved from the hold of Suhasan

When Charakka was leaving her there and going away from that place also, there was the same confusing expression in the face of Evalla.

    Chapter- 1

It was ten in the morning and Rose entered into Black Ant Mental Care just then and went straight into Charles chamber. Charles was not there in his cabin and with little bit of irritation she slumped in the chair opposite to his chair putting her hand bang on the table which was in between the chairs and picked up a magazine on it. It was a magazine relating to psychological matters and she threw it on the table resignedly as she has already gone through that. She would have gone straight to her chamber and from there to her patients if she has not received a phone call from Charles to meet her in his chamber.

Hello, Rose. Sorry, it seems I did put you in waiting here.

Rose turned her head and looked at his side when Charles entered into that chamber and said that.

Not very long. It is just ten minutes. Once she has seen Charles her charming smile climbed onto her lips and she forgot her irritation.

Alright, alright. He said while reclining in his chair after slumping in that.

I was little busy in sending my husband to the office and dropping Emily in baby care when you phoned to me to ask to meet you here.  Is it is just to discuss about routine matters? Rose also reclined in her chair and asked him.

If it is just for routine matters, we can discuss them at any moment. I need not ask you to come a little early and straight into my chamber like this. Charles sighed heavily. There is something important and special.

Do you need to maintain suspense like this Charles? Cannot you come out with it straight? Rose knitted her brows together.

Even after giving birth to a girl also and at her twenty eight or so years of age too, Rose was just wonderful to Charles.  Her dense black hair, active eyes and every attractive feature in her body was as it was when she entered into BAMC at her twenty fifth year. Despite being her family converted to Christianity she always accustomed to wear that traditional saree and blouse and most of the time to keep her black dense hair free to fell on her front and back portions. Charles sensed stirring of his thing and its getting up when her cleavage under her neck came into his view.  Her both breasts were absolutely matching with her body size but filled up the cups of her blouse and brassiere without leaving any room.

Sahamooti is expected to be here just in half an hour or so. Charles said. He wanted to meet so desperately both of us.

For what? frowns gathered on the forehead of Rose and she once again felt irritation. She has taken her psychiatry apprenticeship under Sahamooti, the famous and reputed psychiatrist, before blossomed herself into a full-fledged psychiatrist and she got respect also on him. But two things made her irritated on him all the time. One thing was despite being a famous and reputed psychiatrist he believed in paranormal and the next thing was he just would devour her beauty as much as possible when he was with her. To ask our help in some paranormal issue? He knows our answer to such type of things very well.

We cannot do it every-time like that Rose, after all he is a teacher to me and to you also. Charles once again sighed heavily.  In fact this beautiful and skill-full psychiatrist Rose was a gift from Sahamooti. With the recommendation of that Sahamooti, Charles took Rose as a psychiatrist in his mental care. But he would not have denied her even she straight came to him without any recommendation from anyone. Even though Charles was not a beauty freak, he was attracted maximum to her at the first sight of her. He phoned to me and said to me that he wants to meet us exactly by ten fifteen in the morning. But I am not sure whether he intends to ask our help with respect to some paranormal issue or something else.

I pray god that it should not be something paranormal Rose said and looked at her wrist watch. But it is already ten thirty why he is not here yet?

I am here now. Hearing that voice both of them looked at that side and just then Sahamooti entered into that chamber. I am sorry that I am late by fifteen minutes and put you both in waiting like this.

It is not at all so sir. Rose got off from the chair and produced her charming smile with an effort as Sahamooti sight straight concentrated on her chest part even in that little time itself.

Please come and be seated sir. Charles also got off form the chair before saying that.  We both are just discussing about you.

I can say what you both are discussing about me. Slumping himself in the chair opposite to Charles and beside Rose, Sahamooti said. You are discussing what bloody hell of help with respect to what paranormal matter this old man is going to ask, is it is not?

Of course, yes sir. Slumping in his chair again Charles said. We have lot of respect on you as we learnt a lot regarding psychiatry from you. But we are just unable to believe in paranormal  and cannot be helpful to you in matters relating to that.

But why you both are thinking I do ask you help relating to some paranormal issue? Sahamooti knitted his brows together and then looked into the face of Rose before looking into the face of Charles again.

It is just because sir you do remember us only when you come across some paranormal issue. Rose said with her charming smile and gathered frowns in a beautiful way. You asked our help on two occasions regarding some paranormal and we flatly denied.

And I really appreciate your doing so. You both were frank and I like frankness. Sahamooti laughed loudly. But dear, it is not something related to paranormal this time. Entirely of your line. Knowing how best psychiatrists you both are, I came here to ask your help with respect to a psychiatric patient and is the wife of my dearest friend’s son.

But sir, you yourself are the best psychiatrist. What more help our BAMC can do? Charles asked.

Of course, I am a reputed and skilled psychiatrist. But I am not having the necessary equipment and especially not having the time to devote to it. Even you don’t like at present most of my time is occupied with my research on a paranormal issue. As you both are not interested in paranormal matters I don’t want to discuss about that with you. He paused for a second and said But you both sure would be interested in this psychiatrist patient and can help her. Don’t forget; it would a great help to me also as she is the wife of my friend’s son.

Hundred percent sir. Charles said with enthusiasm. BAMC is always ready to do help to the psychiatric patients. Tell us who is that patient, with what problem she is suffering from and how BAMC can be helpful to it?

Sahamooti leaned back in the chair, sighed heavily and said. Viswanadh, the managing director of Monotony Enterprises, you both sure would have heard his name. He is a very rich person and his business is very big.

Of course, we heard about him. Most of the people do. Charles said. Recently he married a girl who has less than half of his age. Barely twenty two years or so aged.

Young, beautiful and very much charming that girl is. Sahamooti said. And even she is not very famous, she acted in some movies also. Her name is Evalla, real name and movie name also is that. Sahamooti paused for a second before saying again. "That Viswanadh’s father Kameswar was a good friend to me. He established that Monotony Enterprises but after sometime that business got huge losses and he became bankrupt. But after Kameswar, this Viswanadh also has become a good friend to me and I guided him and counselled him on many occasions. Even that Kameswar has other sons, only this Viswanadh cleared all the debts of Montotony Enterprises and take it onto the success track again. That Viswanadh is the managing director to that enterprises with lion’s share and if you people know how big that Monotony Enterprises now, I need not tell about him particularly.

My husband has some business connections with that Monotony Enterprises and Viswanadh. He has mentioned on some occasions that Monotony Enterprises is a very big business organisation and Viswanadh is a very rich man. Rose said.

That’s nice indeed! Sahamooti nodded his head with a relaxed expression in his face. His wife, about whom I have described just now, needs your help now.

But on one thing I need clarification here! Charles said. So far that Viswanadh has not less than fifty years aged. How it has happened that he married a girl who has not even half of his age, that too a film actress?

That is indeed a surprising story! Sahamooti laughed. You may not have been known but that Viswanadh is a divorcee. Nearly twenty years or so back he took divorce and he has a daughter by name Prameela and both of they stay together. On one day he went to the studio of one of his director friends and there he has seen this girl. Both of them have been fallen in love with each other instantly and just in one week they were man and wife.

That girl must have been very beautiful! Charles said. Other than I don’t think a man like Viswanadh would have fallen in love with her.

You may better decide that seeing her yourself. I cannot comment anything on that. With a smile on his lips Sahamooti said looking into the face of Charles.

Alright, alright. Rose nodded her head. Now come to the business. May I know what type of problem she has been suffering from?

She went to somewhere in a car. She did not know driving and their family driver was with her. From the moment she returned, there began a change in her. Sometimes but not always she is saying her name is Okatho and behaving differently also. I am thinking that you both better hear the rest of the matter from that Viswanadh and his wife themselves. Sahamooti resignedly said.

Alright sir. When those both going to meet us then? Charles asked Sahamooti.

Here, there is a request from me. Of course they both come to BAMC later but can either of you attend them in their home itself for the present? It is my personal request. With a pleading expression in his face Sahamooti said.

But you know sir, it is not our policy to go to the patients homes like that. Anyhow sooner or later they may have to come to the BAMC also. With a little bit of irritation in his face and voice also, Charles said. What is the problem to come now itself?

If it becomes inevitable they sure do come to BAMC. I talk with them then. But for the present, either of you does go to their home and talk with them. I already said to you, it is my personal request.  With the same pleading expression in his face Sahamooti said again.

Alright sir, we do as you said. Sighing heavily Rose said. But may we know what is the problem to the couple to come to BAMC?

Both of them don’t want anyone knows that she has been suffering from a psychological problem and they are thinking that it is a simple problem and can be solved in home with the little help of a psychiatrist.

But you certainly can make them understand how much important it is to go to a mental care for a proper diagnosis to the problem. Rose said again.

I tried dear Rose but they did not understand. They are very much adamant that the psychiatrist has to attend on them. Unless I have got that much of help from the father of that Viswanadh, I would not have bothered about like this. You just please, one of you..... Sahamooti tried to say something more.

I myself go and see that girl sir, you don’t worry about it. Rose cut him off and said. She is going to receive the best treatment in my hands, you just be assured of that.

Thank you, thank you very much Rose showing happiness in his face Sahamooti said If you yourself attend on that girl I am sure that she can be cured hundred percent. I intimate the same to that Viswanadh and he would make all the arrangements for your attending on her. As he is one of the richest persons in the country you people can fix the fees in the way you want.

Our BAMC always collects only reasonable fees from its patients. Charles suddenly felt happy as they were going to treat a rich patient like her. On very few occasions rich patients available to BAMC and in such occasions BAMC would not hesitate to collect maximum fees from them. In fact from poor people also BAMC did try collect fees as much as possible and that was one black mark on that reputed and famous mental care.

Now I shall go after talking some more time with both of them and after giving other necessary details of Viswanadh, Sahamooti got off from the chair I wish BAMC all the success in future also.

Charles and Rose also got off from their chairs.

I hope that you visit us again and stay with us some days. Rose said.

Sahamooti nodded his head with a smile, making a last attempt to devour her beauty as much as possible with his eyes and then left that place. Rose indeed relieved and sighed heavily once that Shamooti left.

It is appearing like split personality on the face of it once they both sat again in their chairs Charles said. And you know very well about these split personalities and multiple personalities.

Her charming smile climbed onto her lips without her intention. I think so. She said.

S ometimes you just don’t care how you are behaving! while Williams was claiming her youth organs with savageness holding him gently Rose said without knowing how to stop or control him. Pain and pleasure were sweeping all over her body and she just did not know how to control him. What was still quite surprising to her; that her love on him was in the same measure as it was at the time of her marriage with him. She did not know how much of time has passed but by the time it has come to an end her whole body was a painful moss.

I am sorry. I am really sorry. When he finished with her and got his release, he put himself parallel to her and said in her left ear while hugging her strongly. I know how much painful that was all to you. I just could not control myself.

Its alright dear. Don’t worry about it at all. She turned on her left side, faced him and kissed on his lips gently. If you feel relaxed and tension free by brutal fucking like that, that is enough for me. Even though it was painful to her, she too enjoyed it to some extent.

How you can love me in this way, even after facing torture like this every night. He sat on the bed straight and said. You are indeed a fool to love me and marry me.

She laughed, also sat on the bed before putting her both hands around his shoulders. I just don’t know whether I am a fool or intelligent. But my feeling on you has been the same from the first day I saw and till date.

But why and how it is so? Williams knitted his brows together.

I cannot say. With an innocent expression in her face she said. If one is with profound love it may be so.

How fortunate I am dear! Indeed how fortunate I am! there was admiration and happiness in his face. What would have happened to me without you?

What I am without you? Rose once again kissed on his lips and said. It is not just you got benefit from me and I also from you a lot. This vast wealth and your business have become mine also because I have become your wife. These luxuries, this huge mansion...... she tried to say something more.

Just stop that Rose, I know very well that you don’t care about any of those even a little bit. Williams got off from the bed and started dressing himself.

Then you too better stop thinking that I did a great favour to you. Without bothering to dress herself, lying on her back on the bed and dragging the blanket onto her body Rose said.

Alright, alright. Williams sat on the edge of the bed and said Anything new in BAMC? Is everything alright?

Of course, everything is nice with BAMC. Rose took the right hand of Williams into her hands and squeezed it gently.  In fact we have got a new case into our hands. Then she explained to him about the issue of Viswanadh’s  wife. It was quite usual between them to talk about their respective professions. I am going to attend on her soon.

Viswanadh, managing director of that Monotony Enterprises, is a friend to me also. We have some business relations in between both of us. Williams said I have mentioned about him to you before.

You did and I remember Rose nodded her head and sat on the bed I already learnt something about him and his wife through Sahamooti. Can you say anything more about him?

Our friendship is mostly confined to our business needs. What all I know about is; he married recently, a young girl probably aged twenty two or so which is nearly quite less than half of his age. She is a film actress and I saw her neither in any movie nor in persona but heard she is very much glamorous. He has a daughter who is aged two or three years more than his second wife.

I heard he is a divorcee more than twenty years or so back. Rose said. All these days until he married this girl, he did not bother about a woman relationship?

I cannot say if there is any woman relationship or not to him but for a long time he did not prefer to marry. Why suddenly he has chosen to marry like this I just cannot understand!

May be it is because of the glamour of that girl! What makes men attract that much towards a woman? Rose smiled.

May be you are right Williams nodded his head. But that Viswanadh also is a very handsome and impressive personality.

I heard he is probably aged fifty four or so.

Nearly that Williams nodded his head. But still I can say that he has a handsome personality.

Rose was about to say something more but then they heard the weeping of their daughter Emily.

Our devil woke up. An end to our peaceful environment. Rose quickly got off from the bed, wrapped the saree around her body, almost ran to the cradle there and took their six months aged daughter into her hands.

I am going to that Viswanadh’s house tomorrow to see his wife and diagnose the problem. Quickly filling the babe’s mouth with her right breast Rose said. Once her breast came into her mouth like that, Emily instantly became silent sucking on that vigorously.

It is indeed time that you should wean her from that habit. With little irritation in his face and voice Williams said. You started giving her solids and she does not need your milk now.

Sometimes I just cannot find any other way except this to make this rowdy calm. Rose smiled and said while remembering how sometimes Williams also would suck on her breasts.

BAMC psychiatrists are now visiting the houses of patients also. Williams laughed changing the topic.

Sahamooti particularly requested us to do it like that. In fact Sahamooti took this case to us and if the patients are very wealthy Charles does have no problem to break some rules.

Okay. As you and your BAMC wish it to be. Williams lied himself on his right side on the bed. I have to go to the office a little early on tomorrow. So I am going to sleep now.

I have to go to that Viswanadh’s house also. So I also need to sleep early. As Emily once again slipped into seep, Rose put her carefully into the cradle again and fell herself parallel to Williams. May I mention about you while I am talking with that Viswanadh? You both are friends even it is only on business terms.

Happily do so. I have no objection. After saying so Williams slipped into slope and started snoring little. Rose kissed on his lips lightly and followed the suit.

Williams did not exaggerate when he said Viswanadh was a handsome and impressive personality. Even probably at his fifty four years or so of age also, he was appearing quite handsome and did not appear like a personality to fell for beauty.

Thank you very much Dr.Rose. When I requested that the doctor should visit my house to see my wife, Sahamooti said you people may not do so as it is against your policy. Anyhow I asked him to try and you obliged. Viswanadh smiled.

It is just because sir............. her charming smile has automatically climbed onto Rose’s lips ..........we got all the necessary equipment and environment in our BAMC to diagnose patients. Anyhow as Sahamooti particularly wished us to do so, we could not gainsay. Sahamooti is a teacher to me and to my senior also and we both have lot of respect on him.

My father is a good friend to him and later on I also became his friend and helped him on some occasions. In fact I asked him to treat my wife himself but he strongly recommended BAMC for that purpose. Moreover he told me a lot about you Dr.Rose how capable you are in treating patients especially those who have been suffering from split personalities and multiple personalities.

Rose’s cheeks were blushed on hearing that. Sahamooti did not say to her that he said about her at Viswanadh. Sahamooti is indeed a very capable person Mr.Viswanadh. But presently he is occupied with something else and he does not have the equipment our BAMC has. Once again Rose produced her charming smile. I can assure you our best service. You just be assured of it.

Thank you very much Dr.Rose. Suddenly there was a grateful expression in the face of Viswanadh.

Anyhow I want to make something very clear to you now itself Rose’s face suddenly became serious. I did not see your wife yet and assessed her situation, so I cannot say what exactly the problem is and how serious it is. But.......... she paused for a moment before saying again ........ all our treatment may not be possible at your home itself.  If necessary you may not only take your wife to our BAMC but admit her in it also if situation demands.

Viswanadh’s face also has become serious. If it has become inevitable, we do so Dr.Rose, I have no objection. He paused for a second and said again. May I call my wife now here? Do you talk with her?

Not yet sir. Rose said. First I want to talk with you everything about her. Then we call her here and talk with her.

As you wish it then. Viswanadh nodded his head.

They both were in the reading room of Viswanadh then sitting in chairs facing each other.

I want to say something sir. Rose paused for a second as she felt some uneasiness to mention it so to him then but she wanted. My husband Williams knows you. He is the managing director of Mammoth Enterprises. He knows about you to some extent.

Williams! I know him. We have business connections, we talked with each other on more than one occasion and I can say he is my friend. But it did not happen to know about you through him. It is indeed wonderful to think that my friend Williams is the husband of reputed psychiatrist Dr.Rose.

Its alright sir. Rose’s cheeks were blushed on hearing that. I just want to mention this to you and I did.

You really did a very nice thing Dr.Rose. Viswanadh smiled.

In fact I came to know something about you and your wife through Sahamooti and my husband also. You married your second wife quite recently.

If eight months time is quite recent in your opinion, it is just so. Viswanadh smiled. Eight months have completed just by yesterday."

I came to know that she is a film actress.

She just acted in two or so films. And they were too quite unknown to the people as they were produced by small producers and failures.

How it has happened that you married this girl? How you came to know about her in the first place?

My friend who is a director and producer was a producing a film and he invited me while doing that. She was a supporting actress but she was not able to do that also in a proper way. My friend started scolding her and in fact he was of the opinion to remove her from that role and put someone else in it.

Anyhow you fell in love with her, intervened and proposed marriage to her and she agreed. Rose once again smiled.

I intervened of course. While my friend was scolding her she burst into weeping. I intervened and admonished him. He made that quite clear that he could not continue the movie with her, she has to be removed and someone else has to be put in her place. While she was too much worrying how to live from then on, I offered her a job in my office and she so happily accepted that. In fact she was vexed with her actress career and wanted a shift. He paused for a second.

I see Rose nodded her head thoughtfully.

We were coming to my office in my car. I was thinking furiously what job I could offer to her. She did not appear much educated to me either. Then she suddenly asked me.

‘Sir, you are a divorcee, are not you?’

I really felt angry on her intruding like that into my personal life. ‘Of course, so what?’ I curtly asked her. Anyhow how did you come to know about it?

I heard the conversation between you and your friend. He chided you as you remained unmarried after your divorce such a long time back.

Alright then I was still angry. What it has to do anything with you?

‘Can you........can you......marry me then sir? Another unexpected question from her.’  There was a pause again.

Frowns gathered on the forehead of Rose and she remained silent.

‘My wife and I were divorced nearly twenty years back Dr.Rose when our daughter Prameela was just four years old. I never have thought even about a woman relationship in those twenty years time. My daughter Prameela and my business have become the whole for me. I just want to ask her shut up and never say such type of things again. But I could not say it like that looking into her face." He sighed heavily and remained silent for few more seconds.

"Just in sometime you are going to see her and can form your opinion on her Dr.Rose but looking into her face then I understood something. She wanted something so terribly and expected to have it from me. What made me like that I did not know but I remained silent.’

‘I shall be a very faithful and good wife to you. Think about it. Please.’ There was pleading in her face.

‘I have a daughter. Probably one or two years older to you. She never agrees to our marriage’ I said.

‘Oh, please! I want a marriage. I want a husband just like you. Don’t say no to this.’ The pleading expression was just so in her face.

Even now also I cannot understand Dr.Rose how and why I have agreed to that but I agreed. We both have become man and wife just in one week after that. Here one more thing which is quite surprising to you to hear.’ He paused again.

I am very much eager to hear that sir.  With a curious expression in her face Rose said.

From the day we both have married and till date, even for one second I regretted marrying her so. She kept her promise. She is indeed a very good wife to me.

Very nice to hear that sir. Rose nodded her head and said. After your marriage with her, did you try to know about her past? I mean her parents, brothers, sisters and family history?

She is an orphan Dr.Rose. She has no parents and no relatives. She has grown up in an orphanage ‘Alambana’. With the help of that orphanage she studied upto degree.

Indeed very much pathetic sir. Rose once again nodded her head with sorrowful expression in her face and leaned back in the chair. Does she have any friends?

No, she does not have any friends. Neither girls nor boys. Nodding his head in negation Viswanadh said.

Did you try to know about her background? Wherefrom she has come into that orphanage and at what age, etc?

She has been found by the proprietor of that orphanage suddenly one day at the entrance of the same. She has forgotten about everything including her name and the name Evalla also has been given by that proprietor. After completing her graduation, she moved herself into a rented flat and started doing a small job. In addition to that job, she was doing roles in movies also. In fact she was the heroine in the first two movies of her. But they were produced by small people and wee failures so she could not get any name.

Now, the main point Rose adjusted herself in the chair. When you have found the difference in her psychological behaviour and what exactly is the problem?

One month or so back she asked me to go to that orphanage in which she has grown up and I agreed. She has been taken there in a car and returned on the same day in the night. From that moment she started behaving differently. Not always but occasionally.

What is that difference in her behaviour? Please elaborate.

Naturally Evalla is a very mild woman and sensitive! She talks smoothly and pleasantly with me and everyone. But suddenly on that day she talked very roughly and behaved very violently. I did not know why she talked like that. He paused for a second And later on also she behaved like that occasionally.

Can you say what she talked? Rose knitted her brows together.

She said she knows what to do and how to do. She hundred percent fulfils her mission and never fails in that. It is just matter of time.

What is that mission? Is it is to become a great heroine and earn reputation?

I don’t think so. Viswanadh adjusted in his chair and leaned back. After our marriage she did not even for once talked about that movie career. It was just like she entered into that movie field only because she was glamorous and encouraged by her friends. It appears to me she has been hundred percent satisfied with her matrimonial life.

It may not be like that sir. Rose also leaned back in the chair and said. She may be wishing so much to become a great heroine but just feeling fear to express it like that. Anyhow.... she paused for a second. ..........what would you say if she expresses at you that she wants to enter into the movie field again?

Viswanadh closed his eyes for few seconds and opened them again before saying. If she wants it like that, I hundred percent agree to it Dr.Rose. Of course, it’s little bit difficult to me to agree to that but I think I agree.

That’s a nice thing to hear sir Rose said and put herself into thinking about what to ask next. Before she said anything Viswanadh said.

    Here something is noticeable Dr.Rose.

Tell me sir, what it is? once again Rose’s face was filled with a curious expression.

While she was behaving like that, she said her name was ‘Okatho’.

What? She said her name was ‘Okatho? Rose became straight in her chair.

She talked like this. ‘Okatho’ never forgets. ‘Okatho’ never fails. ‘Okatho’ fulfils her mission.

Did you try to know who is that Okatho? Atleast did you ask her whether she knows anything about Okatho?

I did not try particularly to know about that Okatho. But when she has become normal, I asked her why she talked like that as she was Okatho. She said that she did not have any idea why she behaved like that and she never has heard about any Okatho.

Rose remained silent while thinking seriously about what Viswanadh has said. It was turning out just what Charles and she thought about it.

Is that Okatho just her imagination? Viswanadh broke that silence.

We cannot say like that sir. There may really be a Okatho and your wife is trying to impose her on her. Or as you said..... Rose paused for a moment before saying again .....she created an imaginary personality like that.

Why she would do something like that? What is the necessity to her to do so? suddenly there was distress in his face. Until this episode took place, we both were so happy indeed. I did not find any psychological problem in her.

You can be again like that. I am here to solve this problem. Once again her charming smile climbed onto her lips. You don’t worry.

But.....you may feel surprise that I am feeling at this age in this way. I just don’t know why but I want her to be happy so desperately. If she is happy I don’t want anything else and I am ready to do anything for that. I expressed myself so at her and she believed it also. She knows hundred percent that I don’t object at all even she wants to act in movies again. But why..... he paused for a second as if to stress what he was going to say ..........she has to behave like that? Imposing characters on her whether they are imaginary or real?

Mind is a very complex thing sir, indeed very complex. We cannot understand why our mind itself thinks so, feels so sometimes. Then how can we say why other people’ minds are behaving in a different way? Moreover, even you both are man and wife there are more than one thing you don’t know about her. You don’t know about her childhood, you don’t what took place in her life while she was growing up in that asylum, and movie field is a manipulating field and what she has encountered in it while she was trying for portions in the movies.

May be you are right. I agree. Viswanadh nodded his head. So far from what you have heard, can you say what her psychological disorder is?

You said that she has behaved like that on number of occasions.

On six occasions or so she behaved like that after that day and on each occasion the length of time is ten minutes or so.

I see Rose nodded her head By what I have heard from you, I came to the primary opinion that your wife has been suffering from split personality. Anyhow it has to be diagnosed even more deep to come to the conclusion that she has been suffering from split-personality or from some other psychological disorder. Even it was the first time she has been exposed like that before you on that day, she might have been suffering from it for a long time.

I agree with you Dr.Rose, there is such a possibility also. Viswanadh nodded his head and his face was with full anxiousness. What should we do now Dr.Rose? How long she has to suffer like this?

I can answer these questions  only after talking with your wife and proper diagnosis of her sir. Rose said. I am thinking now is the time to talk with her. One more thing! Rose paused for a second It is better that you should not be with us while I am talking with her.

You can talk with her all alone if you want it to be so Dr.Rose. Viswanadh took his cell phone into his hands and dialled a number. You may please come into my room. Dr.Rose wants to talk with you. Rose heard Viswanadh’s saying so into that phone.

It took just two minutes or so to Evalla to enter into that room. Rose’s mind already pictured Evalla as a beautiful girl as she was a movie actress and could make a very rich person like Viswanadh to marry her. But when she saw Evalla, it was indeed like a shock to Rose just because she was not only a beautiful girl but there was a striking attraction in her also. She did not feel surprise at all that Viswanadh has chosen to marry her.

I am Dr.Rose. I have come...... Rose got off from the chair she sat and went near to Evalla and extended her right hand for a hand shake.

I know that you are Dr.Rose. I know that also why you are here on this day. Evalla’s smile also was as much charming as her. She took Rose’s right hand into her both hands and squeezed it gently. I thought that you may be a middle aged lady. But you are appearing as much young as I am. Suddenly there was surprise in the face of Evalla.

Its not so..... Rose’s cheeks were blushed on hearing that and Viswanadh interfered and said.

You both do have a little chitchat. I shall come here in half an hour or so.

Viswa, is it is not better that you do also stay with me now? looking into the face of Viswanadh, Evalla asked him.

Dr.Rose wants to talk with you all alone dear. Viswanadh put his right hand around the shoulders of Evalla and squeezed.

And you will be hundred percent safe with me. I assure you no harm or damage. Rose laughed.

Its alright then. Evalla said with a smile on her lips.

Then Viswanadh went out of that room leaving them both in it.

N ow ask me whatever you do want to ask Dr.Rose. after making herself comfortable in the chair in which Viswanadh sat before, Evalla said. I am feeling a sort of pleasure to be with you.

I am flattered. Rose laughed on hearing that. But it was not just that Evalla made that remark. She heard it from number of her patients and their relatives also. Charles particularly said that Rose’s charming personality itself shall have enough influence on the psyches of her patients. But I have imagined and pictured you in a wrong way.

What is that doctor? frowns gathered on the forehead of Evalla.

After hearing everything about you from your husband and I think he said everything to me that he knows about you Rose paused for a second I thought you would be a shy and modest girl. But you are appearing free talking and active!

I don’t know what to say. Evalla laughed on hearing that. But it is quite good to hear you so.

Alright Rose nodded her head and suddenly she became serious. Do you agree that you have been suffering from a psychological disorder?

Of course, doctor! Evalla nodded her head and leaned back in the chair. That was why I did not say ‘no’ when Viswa suggested to call you home to see me.

Why you are thinking that you are psychologically ill?

Deep frowns gathered on the forehead of Evalla and stooped forward in the chair. Sometimes I am becoming completely out of control. In such situations I just don’t know what I am saying or doing.

And in such situations you are saying that your name is Okatho.

I don’t know about that. But Viswa said that I have been saying like that whenever I have become so. There was some discomfort in the face of Evalla and she once again leaned back in the chair.

And you said to Viswa, your husband, that you not only never have seen that Okatho but you never even have heard that name.

Exactly that Dr.Rose. with firmness in her voice Evalla said. I don’t know even whether that Okatho is male or female.

Its alright. Rose nodded her head. When the first time these psychological spells started happening in you?

On one day I went to the orphanage where I have grown up doctor. The proprietor of it is woman and we both are good friends. I talk with her occasionally and meet her also. The trip was quite successful! But from the moment I have returned from there I started behaving like that.

I heard the proprietor of it is a man.

Yes, used to be. Evalla nodded her head. But he died six months back. As he has not married and did not have any children, all his properties including this orphanage were inherited by his niece who is his only relative. That old proprietor and I also were used to be very good friends in fact.

I see. Rose nodded her head. Anything specific has taken place while you have been going there, staying there or while returning from that place?

No nothing specific and particular has taken place on the whole of that day except my behaving like that after returning from that place. With firmness in her face Evalla said.

Please concentrate and tell me. Even it was a very minor happening also. Nothing specific has taken place in your trip on that day?

That question once again caused frowns on the face of Evalla and she took her lower lip between her teeth-frames and started chewing on that. In that posture she appeared even more impressive and beautiful to Rose.

One small incident doctor. While we were returning from that place, the car had gotten into repair at some place. The driver went away from that place to bring a mechanic and it took some twenty minutes or so. I was all alone in the car at that time.

What you did while you were all alone in that car?

As soon as the driver left that place I fell asleep and I woke up when he returned. I would have been asleep not more than ten minutes I think.

I see Rose nodded her head. Do you remember anything about your childhood? When you have been put into that orphanage and who has taken you there?

Suddenly there was some discomfort in her face When I have knowledge of myself I was in that orphanage. Fortunately there were children of my age also. There was not much to say about my childhood it was just like that of a child who has grown up in an orphanage. You can imagine that.

Your husband said that you have no friends at all. it was surprising to Rose that a talkative and amicable girl like Evalla has no friends at all.

I can be friendly with anyone but cannot make friendship. From scratch I have been just like that. Evalla’s mellifluous laughter was good to Rose to hear. Viswa is right. I have no friends at all.

Any unusual, unfortunate and strange incidents in your life Evalla? From the day you got knowledge of yourself and till date.  Think carefully and tell me.

I have no relations and I have no close friendship with anyone either. In fact I did not feel intimacy and closeness with anyone until I marry Viswa. So there is no chance of losing the people I do like more. No unfortunate incidents of that sort.  No unusual or strange incidents also except the incidents which have been taking place recently in my life. There was no confusion either in her face or voice while Evalla was saying that.

Do you have no knowledge of yourself while you are in that psychological bout Evalla? You don’t have any knowledge at all what you are doing and why you are doing that?

Exactly so. Suddenly once again frowns gathered on the face of Evalla. I just don’t know any knowledge of myself while I am behaving like that. It is just like I am under deep sleep at that time.

One important question! Rose stooped forward in the chair. Can you say that day was the very first day you behaved like that? You never behaved in such a way, in that orphanage or anywhere else? Just try to remember carefully and tell me.

Suddenly Evalla’s forehead was creased with frowns and an uneasy expression came into her face. "The other
