About this ebook

Jasmine was a twenty two years young girl who loved her father Richard and sister Rose a lot. Her acquaintance with Micheal was indeed a very longtime back and her love with him also was not recent. Jasmine loved and liked Micheal also as much as she loved and liked her father and her sister. But when she came to know through her father that Micheal started insulting and torturing her father who was working in their company, Jasmine started disliking Micheal. But when she mistaken that her father got the heart attack and died because of Micheal's rough treatment, that disliking turned into strong hate and rancor and her love on Micheal was immediately evaporated.

From here the testing time was started for Micheal. His insulting and yelling on Jasmine's father was just impulsive and not intentional at all. Then Micheal with the help of his friend Stuart and Jasmine friend Lucy without the knowledge of Jasmine made her join in a company. Later Jasmine managed her life so happily with her sister until the moment she came to know that Micheal was behind in her getting the job. Then Jasmine immediately resigned to that job and not just came out of that company but from the comfortable living also. Micheal's attempts to make her join in that job again only made her anger and hate on Micheal just more and more. Micheal indeed had to make more and more efforts to make Jasmine realize the truth.

Love won in the end and Micheal and Jasmine were the happiest couple once again. A heroine oriented romantic thriller.

    Chapter-1

She stood in the entrance , looking at him without even blinking, and the rancor in her eyes was disturbing to him. He was transfixed, just stood there while her gaze was sweeping all over him. Even he expected this, knowing fully about the recent incidents, still it was embarrassing to him.

Why did you have come? her voice was sharp and it was like piercing him with a needle.

We have to talk. He surprised at his voice. It was never feeble like this.

There is nothing that we both need to talk. She was keeping the voice level in the same way. The stern expression in her face was not softened even a little.

Let me please come in first. There was pleading in his eyes and she reluctantly took her hand off from the doorpost. She did so not because of any soft feeling she had developed on him, but she found some people on the street observing them so with curiosity and she not liked it.

Jasmine, please..... When they both sat in the chairs in the hall inside, facing each other, he started to say. Try to understand....

What should I try to understand? He was abruptly interrupted and the angry expression kept like that on her face like a mask. It was as if she was wishing all the time only that he would go from there without any delay.

I am sorry. I did a mistake. I should not have behaved like that with your father. I know for how long he was in our organization. I know how hard he worked for us. Even the expression in her face was intensely troubling, he remained looking into it while saying that. What impressed him was the seriousness and anger as well in her gave a different shade to her beauty.  She did not say anything but let him say whatever he wanted to.

You know about me very well. I am short tempered. I used to be so in my family as well. I was rude occasionally with your father ... he had to make lot of effort to say what he was saying.

That was what cost my father’s life which is nothing to you. the words were like bullets from her which indeed hit him with all the force.

I did not expect that to be so at all. I never have thought.... He tried to say something more.

Enough. She said and got up from the chair. I am having other works to look after. If you do retire atleast now, I shall appreciate.

He nodded his head and stood up. If you want any help at anytime please....

    Make a move.

He was stunned at the rudeness in her voice and there was momentary indecisiveness in his eyes before he turned back to go away from that place. There were some important matters he had to talk with her but she was not giving him a chance at all.

She just remained staring at his retreating figure. Her heart was burning with anger. The thing that her father died because of him was quite unbearable to her. How much she loved her dad! How much her father loved her! Only because of this rogue he got heart attack and died.

But the point that she loved this rascal, spent time like that with him making her heart cringed. She had given her whole heart and gave herself to him. Did not he know how much she loved her father? Then how could he behave like that with her father even however much short temper was his second nature?

Sis... she heard her sister Rose’s voice and turned back. Rose was four years younger to Jasmine.

Tell me, Rose. Jasmine was trying to be normal forgetting all about Micheal. But however hard she tried she could not forget the fact that the very man whom she loved with all her heart caused the death of her father with his ill treatment.  Now what all she had got was only her sister, Rose. Her mother lost her breath when Jasmine was only five years old. After that it was her father who looked after her and her sister with all the care and tenderness. He never even thought about second marriage. He never let his daughters suffer for anything.

With an effort Jasmine made her face softened and tried to produce her usual charming smile which resulted only as a wane one. She did not expect Micheal to come like this to her house and that was still shocking and irritating to her. She already made her anger fully burst on him before for what he did and thought that was enough to keep him away from her. But he did come again. She just did not like seeing his face at all.

Why did you that much hard on him? You might better give him a chance to say what he wanted to. Wrinkles gathered on the forehead of Rose.

What?.... Jasmine surprised on hearing her sister so. You are saying like this! Don’t you know how our father had been tortured in the office? Don’t you know only because of this rogue’s torturing and teasing our dad had got the heart attack and died. You are saying to me that I rather would give him a chance to play his drama? an emotional bout took over on Jasmine. She could not bear that her own sister misunderstood her so.

Rose nodded her head helplessly. She knew about her sister’s nature very well. It would be very difficult to change her mindset if she had got on to some idea on something. Rose knew that their father struggled and suffered because of Micheal’s authoritative dealing in the office. Her father often shared the troubles and problems he was facing in the office with his daughters. But still Rose was not thinking that her father got the heart attack only because of the teasing and torturing in the office by Micheal. Moreover she knew well about Micheal. He was always gentle, soothing and helpful. Rose knew about his short temper. She was thinking his bad behavior with her father was not particularly intended.

It is not like that...  Rose looked into her sister’s face straight as if trying to put some sense into her just by looking so. Why not her sister was trying to understand the difficulty in running their family without any financial aid? Rose knew that Micheal had come to their house mainly to discuss and give the financial entitlements that their father had earned in the office. He said so to her over cell before coming here and pleaded with her to make Jasmine agree to it. But Rose could not even dare to broach that matter with her sister seeing her bubbling with anger on Micheal all the time. As expected Jasmine did not give him at all a chance even to express what he wanted to say.

You need to complete your Master of Business Administration. I have to join in my first year Bachelor of Arts now. How our lives would go without any aid from anyone... she tried to say something more in an attempt to make her sister’s mood change.

So you have prepared to accept this bloody rogue’s help? You have stooped that lower! Jasmine abruptly interrupted her sister.

Why are you taking it like that? Rose angrily said to her. Our father worked in their organisation for a life time. More than thirty years. For the service he provided to them, those people sure owe a lot to us. What would be the problem to us if we accept the money they give to us reciprocating our father’s service to them?

No. the firm nod from Jasmine was in fact irritated Rose. Why her sister was this much adamant? Why she could not understand the matters in the way they were? I just don’t want to touch anything from this rascal. Even our father really earned it, I just don’t want it if it comes from this rogue. She could understand the suffering of Rose. But it was just impossible to her to accept anything from Micheal.

Anyhow you need not worry about. I do try and get a job. I shall see that your education would go as smoothly as possible. She was never less in self confidence. It was complete in her voice then too.

You did not complete your Master of Business Administration yet. You are not having any other technical skills either. Who would give a job to you? her self confidence appeared to Rose as overweening.

But I have got graduation. That is enough to me to get a job somewhere. Tossing her head negligently Jasmine said.

Rose nodded her head helplessly and remained silent. In fact she too felt angry with Micheal to some extent for his rude behavior towards their father. She felt it even then too when he phoned to her and asked her to prepare Jasmine for what he was going to say. But when he himself came to their house and tried to plead with them so, she lost her anger. Even Micheal behaved in a rude way towards her father, Micheal’s father always used to look after nicely towards his father. He paid handsomely to him. Their father could manage to buy this house only with the means he earned in the office.

Rose perched her head up when she felt her sister’s hand on her shoulder and found Jasmine looking into her face. There were tears in the corners of Jasmine’s eyes.

You are really feeling fear about our lives, are not you? now the tears found the way down on her cheeks.

Rose turned her head down. There were tears in her eyes too then.

You need not. Jasmine put her hand under the chin of her sister and perched her head up. The tears were half the way on her cheeks and Jasmine wiped them off.

Just believe me. Put trust in me. The firmness in her sister’s voice was surprising to her. How she could get that much of confidence? I do get a job and look after both of our lives. You need not worry about anything at all.

Rose nodded her head and she was still in lot of confusion. She could not feel as much confident as her sister felt. It was not just only the thing that was bothering Rose then. She knew very well how much her sister and Micheal loved each other. She knew that there was distress in Jasmine’s heart like a lump as she had to give up Micheal’s love like that and she was suppressing it all the time. Rose well understood the attachment Jasmine had got with her father. If it had not happened like that their father suffered heart attack and died because of Micheal’s rude dealing with him, Jasmine never would have preferred to let go her love on Micheal and treat him so.  Not just for their lives sake, but for her sister’s and Micheal’s happiness also, Rose heartfully wishing that Micheal and her sister would become united once again. Considering her sister’s stubbornness and stupidity, she was surprising ever it was possible.

I t is nothing but just arrogance. What in her is making you troubling this much I cannot understand. Until I see her I cannot come to an opinion. It was troubling to Stuart, who was not only a friend but also a distant relative to Micheal, to see the said expression in his face. Even he left Micheal at his early childhood itself and came in touch with only recently, he knew very well about Micheal. To some extent, Micheal shared Jasmine’s matter with Stuart. He was not a person to worry like this about an ordinary girl. Whomever that girl may be, must be extraordinary, Stuart understood as Micheal was worrying about her in this way.

No. It is not arrogance. He was still remembering the form of Jasmine. Even in her anger and irritation, she appeared beautiful to him. He just could not name it as beauty either. It was more than that which would attract people and make them unable to divert their gaze.

What else it is then? Stuart felt irritated. He just did not like that Micheal was being treated in such a way however outstanding that girl might be. Respect towards you?

Micheal did not say anything but reclined in the chair.

That is why I did say to you not to go yourself there. But you did not listen to me at all. Just see how she had treated you. already there was a form appearing before his psyche, basing on the narration and description given by Micheal to him.

Micheal fidgeted in the chair but did not say anything at all. However much Stuart was appearing right in his version, he could not agree with it.
