On today's episode I'm discussing one of my favourite topcis - building muscle and resistance training. Specifically, I talk a bit about what happens within our muscles when we train and how they grow in response to that training, cover some training principles such as intensity, volume, frequency and more.

It's a bit of a more information-heavy episode but hopefully after listening this you'll have a deeper understanding of how to train effectively in order to build muscle and grow.

In part 2 I'll discuss the other side of the coin, which is how we adapt and recover in response to training to optimise growth - stay tuned :)
