"Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation—" (Colossians 1:21-22)Do you remember who you were before you knew Jesus? Maybe it was yesterday or maybe you were young. But before you met him, you are alienated from God, enemies by nature. But when your heart acknowledged and surrendered to the finished work of Jesus on the cross, you were reconciled to God, enemies no more. There's more good news! Jesus not only died to pay our sin debt, but He also lived a perfect life and granted that righteousness to us despite our sin. Because of His work, we come to God the Father presented holy and blameless through Christ. You and I could never attain this on our own but Praise Jesus He can and did! He is where the joy is!
