Description

Essential Skills for Training: Hannah Miley
My guest today is a Scottish swimmer, specialising in the 400 individual medley.
Hannah Miley is a triple Olympian, double Commonwealth champion and World champion.
She has a degree in Sport & Exercise science, is a FitrWoman ambassador, and is a FurMum to 2-year old poppy.
In this conversation, which is the 6th episode in my "Essential Skills for Training Series" we talk about:
How Hannah became one of Scotland's top females swimmers
Her training practice and how she recovers
The difference between resilience and hard work (both in and out of the pool)
What she has learnt in her swimming career
What she went through when the 2020 Olympic Games got canceled
Women in sport (swimming)
Training with your cycle
Having tough conversations
Hannah is "curious about the hard stuff". And this she believes will help change the sport for young female athletes.
