Description

The plaintiffs purchased a puppy from the defendant, but sadly, they say the canine had parvovirus and had to be put down, so they’re suing for a refund. The defendant claims she told the plaintiffs parvovirus was a common thing puppies get, and they should have put the puppy on an IV ASAP. The defendant denies owning the plaintiffs a dime.
Then, the plaintiffs rented a two-bedroom apartment from the defendant. They say the guy infringed on their rights by forcing them to show the place to prospective tenants during the COVID-19 pandemic, claiming it endangered their lives. The plaintiffs argue the defendant fined them for declining to do it, so the defendants are suing for the cost of the fine. The defendant claims the plaintiffs notified him that they were moving out, and he asked them to vacate a little early because a new person needed the apartment due to a fire at a different property. The plaintiffs agreed to move out, and the defendant says he doesn’t owe them anything.
