Description

After the plaintiff’s boyfriend passed away, the plaintiff claims her late boyfriend’s father took some of the deceased man’s belongings. The plaintiff says her boyfriend’s dying wish was for his daughter to have those things, so the plaintiff is suing for stolen property. The defendant claims he has every right to his late son’s belongings because he was his father.
Then, the plaintiff used to own a skin spa, but she was shut down during the COVID-19 pandemic. She claims her former landlords stole her security deposit, so she’s suing. The defendants insist the plaintiff owes them money, and they’re countersuing for two months’ worth of unpaid rent.
