Description

On the 125th episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast, we chat with Food Instagrammer, Phil Mar (@philmaaaeats). Phil has been consistently grabbing takeout over the past several months and has been trying his best to support local Seattle restaurants. Tune in as he and Monica discuss some of his favorite spots around Seattle as well as international food as he traveled to several locales before the pandemic.
In addition, Monica and Nelson received a home delivery from Chocolate Strawberry and More and they review their chocolate dipped strawberries. These strawberries are ready for pre-order just in time for February.
As for what they ate this week, Nelson got several deliveries from Aberlour Single Malt Scotch Whisky celebrating Burns Night Supper, Mochi Doki Mochi Ice Cream, and Mama Star Chili Oil. Plus, he also went out to Totem Lake Village to check out the newest location from Due Cucina, stopped by the new Bobalust in Kirkland for a beverage, grabbed takeout from Cafe Ori and Senor Taco, and picked up lunch from Square Lotus and Tofu 101.
Meanwhile, Monica had chicken wings from Star in the Sky, checked out the Sweet Nothings and More Pop-Up at Lupo in Fremont, picked up some Seattle Pops, had lunch at Sisi Kay Thai, and visited her regular spots including Pho Tic Tac, Katsu Burger, and Teriyaki Time.
Thank you so much for listening and we hope you enjoy the latest episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast!
