Description

On the 81st episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast, we interview Seattle Foodie, Sonya Chang (@seattle_bites). Sonya has many accolades including a 2017 Zagat Foodie Award Winner and Bite of Seattle Judge. Sonya has been in the Seattle Food Scene for many years now and she shares her story of how she got started and how the Seattle food community has evolved over time.
For this past week, both Monica and Nelson got takeout this week from Soi on Capitol Hill and they tell you about all the dishes they ordered including some of the items from their Happy Hour Takeout menu.
In addition, times can be difficult during this time right now for many, so we wanted to mention some places where you can help donate money, food, and other supplies who need it. We also wanted to highlight the Seattle Community Kitchen Collective made up of Musang, That Brown Girl Cooks, Guerilla Pizza Kitchen, and Feed the People and tell you what great things they're doing right now for the Seattle community and how you can help donate. Moreover, we wanted to mention several Greater Seattle food community-specific fundraisers you can help contribute to assist workers in the food industry.
Finally, we summarize what we've been eating and cooking this past week. Monica visited several takeout and delivery spots you're not going to want to miss.
Thank you so much for listening and we hope you enjoy the latest episode of the Seattle Foodie Podcast! Happy eating, Seattle!
